Title: Props to McKinney
Post by: Super PurpleCat on September 29, 2007, 07:14:55 PM
He pretty much took Sweed out of the game multiple times on sure-catches.  Yeah, he screwed up on that TD catch by Cosby because he pulled off thinking Colt was gonna run.  But other than that play, nice job.

he should have had one on that play that they ruled "uncatchable" but overall he was much improved.

i don't know...I felt it was more of the sweed not making the plays he should...because  this was his first game back...but Mckinney did alright considering the height disadvantage.

The two drops that Sweed had were because McKinney had his hands in there knocking out the ball.

Sweed played last week against Rice so no you can't use that excuse for him.

McKinney played a fantastic game today.  He got beat deep once, but was able to close with the ball in the air and make the play.

He deserves a lot of credit.

I owe Mckinney big props, I called him out on the board yesterday, and he played a hell of a game.  Way to go McKinney.

Though if he gets burned by ku next week, then I will crucify him again.
