and let's be honest...(stroking the hawker ego)...when we say that this is ku's best chance in over 14 years to win in Manhattan...and you're selling back a portion of a small allotment? Funny.
The two main arguments I've heard are..
1. $70 is too much...
2. the seats sold back are crapty....
again...funny
First, ku charged Kstater's the same amount for last years' game in Lawrence. I can't recall, but did we send back any of our allotment to ku? I seriously don't know. If we did, then by all means link the article proving as such. The turnout was pretty good by the KState crowd.
Second, visitors ALWAYS get crap seats...that's why they are the visitors. You aren't going to score midfielders for a decent match up and this Showdown is shaping up to be one of the best we've had.
I bought two tickets for the KSU vs. Ostate game at $85 a piece and we'll be sitting in the corner..top row.. right next to the next construction going on in Stillwater. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Kstate brings MORE to Stillwater than ku brings to Manhattan. I'll be sure to check back later in October to find out.
You could always hide under the predictable "Manhattan is a dump" comebacks and "KSU fans are mean"....but in the end, you're simply unwilling to travel and support your team at the closest road venue that ku fans are going to find this year. There is no spin or excuse for that.

I'm not sure why I'm not banned yet. I've avoided the name calling but I do enjoy pointing out their shortcomings...ie the Toledo choke, Baylor choke, Ostate choke, A&M choke...etc......but I think after we win on the 6th that they'll ban me simply out of spite.
