The war through the eyes of those who fought it rather than generals and campaigns is how it should be told.  Excellent so far.

i painted him a picture of the bomber he flew.

The Ehlers brothers of Manhattan were just mentioned and one of them interviewed re: D-Day.  His brother was KIA.

I'm DVRing in HD.  Anyone know how long it goes on?  It's like 2 1/2 hourse every f'ing night!  I am running out of hard drive.

last night's episode was the last one this week, they did 4, sunday thru wednesday.
start back up next sunday for the final 3 installments, sunday thru tuesday.
