for the next week. The only relevant team for this week is the University of Texas. Some seem to be willing to concede this one and look to October 6. God help us if Prince and the Players are thinking that way. Championship teams focus on the task at hand (UT). Championship programs expect to win every week. We need to roll in to Austin with both guns blazing (metaphorically, of course). We need to beat them in their house. Then we can prepare for October 6th.
In that regard, Cat fans, fear not. Prince and this team remember last year far more intimately than we do. They will arrive at BSFS fully focused on revenge. It will be a beautiful thing!
But for now, forget October 6th. Focus on September 29th. Hold nothing back. Kill all that is Burnt Orange and the next week will take care of itself. As it is written, "Take no thought for tomorrow. For sufficient to the day, are the evil Longhorns thereof."

You are an idiot. Everyone and their dog is eying the matchup against our rival (< Texas). Why would anyone look ahead to ku (< Just another game)?
-
Exactly. Who's looking ahead? Rivalries aside, the UT game is much bigger.
:hornsdown
-
Rivalries = UT
:hornsdown
-
Texas hates us......
-
Glad we all agree. (except that idiot part, you're on your own with that!)
-
I highly doubt that Prince and the football team give a rat's ass what upcoming game a message board is talking about.
May God have mercy on us all if they do...

I'm more jacked up for the UT game than our non-rival game. KSU plays on national TV vs. a top 10 team. There is nothing better than that. RP gets another opportunity to showcase this program, and I think the UT game will be a better game anyways.
Who gives a crap about ku.

Alright. Maybe idiot was a little harsh. I just don't see anyone looking past our most bitter and historic rival for some game that really means nothing to any of our fans. The K-State game is the one game that Texas marks on their calender every year (2 out of 4 at least) and vice versa with us. Nobody is going to look past this one for a meaningless ku matchup.
-
KSU plays on national regional TV vs. a top 10 team.
FYP. I wish that it were national outside of sports bars and speakeasies.

I couldn't care less about the ku game... thier qb looks like he could sub in a pop-warner game for the love of god.
