Title: Sand Creek Station in Newton
Post by: eRod v1.0 on September 18, 2007, 05:49:45 PM
Any of you homers play this course yet?  I've heard good things about the course, but not from anyone who has actually played there.  The pictures of the course look amazing.  Looks like the course would be a nice challenge.  Hell if you birdie the 10th hole, aka "The Beast", you get a free t-shirt.  But it's also the longest hole in the state of Kansas!

Give me some feedback fellars.

I played there this summer in the Junior Fourball Tournament. Very nice track, long as hell from the tips. #10 is the hardest par 5 I've ever played. It's basically a poor man's Prairie Dunes. Greens are nice and pretty fast, atleast they were when we played. Overall it's a great course, you won't be dissapointed.

Well we had to walk during the tourney, but when we played the practice round I'm pretty sure they had one.
