Title: if you had a time machine
Post by: fatty fat fat on September 17, 2007, 04:11:46 AM
would you go back in time to 2003 and warn snyder that the DOD was soon ending?

would it make a difference?

I'd go back to 97 so I have plenty of time to warn him about the 98 ccg and stoops, venebles, mangino.

I'd worn him about the f**king pussies like AE, Boss, etc. and the waste of talents like Nick Patton and Simmons.

I'd go back to 2003 and inform him that we do have to play football after this year, and that he should continue to recruit.  And then I'd go watch the Big12 game.

With tape from 2004 and 2005 in hand, I'd go back to 1996 and tell Snyder, "this is what happens when your recruiting strategy doesn't change, you don't pay your assistants well, and you don't allow your assistants any life outside of football.

I'd streak the field in St. Louis just before "the fumble," forcing the officials to blow the play dead.

Good plan.

While Jeffy was streaking, I'd pull the plug on the "out of town" scoreboards that were showing the Miami v. UCLA score.

then I'd go watch us beat Tee martin's ass with jeffy and the girl in his avatar.

Yeah, I think that would probably be the best move for the program.

I'd give him a list of every walk on or 2 star recruit with zero offers that panned out.  Also I would tell him to start recruiting little Arthur Brown.

Don't forget about Chris Boggas.  He was a big time 4-star recruit and wound up quitting the team a couple of times including right before the 2001 season when we would have needed him most due to all the injuries on the OL that year.  Not to mention the fact he later stole six baseballs from Snyder's home.

you don't think he saw some of that coming?  Maybe not to the extent it did but he saw some bumpy roads ahead.  Some KSU fans could see some decline in personnel, etc.

I'd go Tanya Harding on Sirr Parker.

End of story.

Leland "overrated POS imo" before the 2004 season.

"I believe we are on the verge on dominating football"

Snyder during coaches shows during that season

"It's not the talent"

But touche hatter. As per.

I'd go buy a sports almanac, give it to myself in the past telling me to bet loads of $$ on all sporting events, be a trillionaire and donate enough $$ to KSU Athletics to make boone pickens look like a chump.  All that other bullcrap would work itself out.
