Title: Callahan is a genius!
Post by: WildCatzPhreak on September 16, 2007, 12:46:22 AM
I now understand why he played not to get blown out last year @ SC.  He was biding his time trying to get his extension!

And like the brilliant man he is, he signs an extension right before SC.  Now the bugeaters are stuck with him, and paying $$$ out the ass for it!

QFT, except Huggins actually has other schools that want him as their HC.

Callahan should have hired Snyder to school him on how to beat SC

How about USC emptying their bench when up 49-10 and Big Game Billy keeping the front line in to try to pad the stats and make the score look respectful (all but ten of their points came after USC began substituting).  I was just waiting for Keller to get hit and knocked out for the season while trying to lead a charge back to keep the score respectful with zero chance of winning.  What a complete f***ing moron.  I can not wait to listen to Corn fans try to defend their ignorant coach come monday.  Also, how about his (once again) masterful gameplan and coaching adjustments at halftime.  Callahan has been outcoached by every single coach he has faced in his tenure.  He has the talent he just doesn't have the brains or balls to do anything with it.

Callahan:  Glad you come over and help us with USC.  What can we do?

Snyder:  Do you have a talented power running back?

Callahan:  We have Lucky.

Snyder:  What's your power running back's name?

Callahan:  Lucky.  You know. Marlon Lucky?

Snyder:  Can he pound it up the middle?

Callahan:  Well we don't have a power running game.  We do the West Coast Offense.

Snyder:  Nevermind.  Who's your fullback?

Callahan:  West Coast doesn't use a fullback.

Snyder:  Do you know what one is?

Callahan:  Yes, but we don't have one.

Snyder:  OK, well..  do you have a mobile athletic QB.

Callahan:  We have a Heisman trophy candidate.

Snyder:  Who?

Callahan:  Sam Keller.

Snyder:  How many games has he won as a starter?

Callahan:  6.

Snyder:  How many games did he play last year?

Callahan:  None.

Snyder:  Why is he a Heisman candidate?

Callahan:  He transferred from Arizona State.

Snyder:  Was he in contention to win it?

Callahan:  Well, not but he did real well until he was injured halfway through the season.

Snyder:  Does he know the option?

Callahan:  Well no, but he's a good accurate thrower.

Snyder:  Do you have any QB's that can do power running with the option?

Callahan:  Look, we do the West Coast offense.

Snyder:  Hope you can keep it within 20.  I'll send Pelini a Christmas Card.

(closes door behind him.)

LOL.

(It'd be funnier if we didn't have the exact same problem on offense.  Luckily for us, Prince is a little more 'creative' than Callahan.)
