That moral victory vs. Auburn is really paying dividends.

Cox just got benched-threw his 2nd INT. Auburn is just flat out atrocious-on offense.

I would love to see ku go on the road anywhere, and even get close to a win.

This can't be true...

Auburn's defense is on par with the '85 Bears and they're unbeatable at home (unless they're playing South Florida).

I don't see what you're getting at.  We know we should have beaten Auburn.  It's not like we were sitting around saying "Damn, we're awesome for playing them close!"

BMW = idiot

10 of 13 MSU points off the two Cox int's.

Auburn plays ugly football...trailed a TERRIBLY bad Ole Miss team last year 14-0 before coming back to win.

Auburn down early to MSU no different from Nebraska being down 10-7 to Nevada.

Auburn will ugly it up and escape w/ a W.

Oh and BMW...my first post after our Auburn game I specified "Auburn not a top 20 team".

thanks.

I don't even think it looks like much of an accomplishment to play them close. Mississippi State is the worst team in the SEC and they're manhandling Auburn right now.

It's never an accomplishment to play Auburn close.  Most of their games are close.

Auburn scores a TD.  If Auburn can hang onto the ball the rest of the game (5 TOs last week, and 3 in the 1st Q today), they'll win.

And yes, we should have beat them.

that is what you lean on when you can't think of anything to say.  Not only do I make you speechless...I take your breath away.

oops...TD Auburn.

14 - 13 Auburn.

Thanks for chiming in about the Tigers.

You do realize it's virtually the same D that dominated NU in the cotton bowl last year?

Moral victory?  Nope, just pointing out that maybe, just maybe playing 'burn in front of 85K on the road is a tad bit more difficult than playing air.

it could be better.  NU didn't face a few of their starting LB's.  The only player they miss off that team would be the corner Irons.  But tons of names either starting or contributing significant minutes on the field vs. KSU that played vs. both LSU and Florida last year.  But we can all pretend Auburn's just bad defensively or something.

Please elaborate on which of those points shows little knowledge of football and why.  Or were you just making a general observation that was irrelevant to the post to which you replied?  TIA.

  If you were to go to your own board, you'd find many,many, many posts indicating Auburn was going to "ass rape" KSU.  There was talk of scary smart being out of his mind even scheduling a game like this on the road.

That was the long answer.  The shorter version would be "Yes, on phlognet".

Auburn lost several key players from their secondary. And without any semblence of an offense, their defense simply can't win them games like they did last year. Face it Hatterfag-Auburn sucks nuts. And I'm talking about this season, not last season when they beat LSU and Florida. Get in the present pal. Your little moral victory a few weeks ago doesn't mean jack crap. It means you would be dead last in the SEC this year. Congrats.

Dude, it's really not that hard.

"BMW = idiot"

BMW was right.

"Auburn down early to MSU no different from Nebraska being down 10-7 to Nevada."

Not even close. Is Nebraska consistently losing at home to bad teams?

"Auburn will ugly it up and escape w/ a W."

Wrong again.

I really shouldn't have had to point that out to you.

You just can't assume that ku fans know anything about football, so I like to make sure there's some actual reasoning and not just hatin' going on.
