keeping the schedules in mind....

surprised/impressed with:
#1 in punt returns (all deon)
#3 in punting
#3 in ypp total defense
100% red zone offense. excellent.
only 2 td's surrendered in 5 opposing teams red-zone trips

surprised/disappointed with:
#12 in KO returns (patton needs to return all of them)
mediocre pass efficiency defense
look at opponents 1st downs.  :curse:
look at penalties. wow.

We've only socred 1 more TD than ISU.

Do we have any int's?  Watts had 1 against Auburn.  We need to create more TO's.  I think that is the biggest weakness on defense right now.  Hopefully when patterson comes up to speed if he does he can be that catalyst.

I'm really really starting to come around on your theory.

I think the way you presented it (bashing 02 defense) was the only issue up-front.
