Freeman - 25-36, 272, 1 TD, 2 INT, 1 rush TD
McCoy - 25-38, 239, 1 TD, 2 INT
Keller - 24-41, 258, TD, 2 INT
these QB's who were said to be some of the best in Big 12 sure didn't put up numbers any better than freeman did

LOL Todd Reesing is the Best qb in the big 12 if not the Nation.
-
...and yet there are some that seriously want to see Coffman get a chance...

I'll say it...but we had by far the worst defense to go up against yesterday. tcu and Wake have much better secondaries....but as far as effeciency and making decent throws on out routes and slants Freeman looks much more crisp this year. We still have a problem with stalling in the red zone. That must be fixed.
-
It should be two TD passes instead of a rushing. That was clearly a TD and not down on the 1 yd line. The refs sucked balls yesterday. And what about that touchdown by SJSU by a guy who jumped in from out of bounds.
-
BookCat is right. Keller and McCoy were going against BCS secondaries. I know SJSU has that corner who is going to the NFL next year, but that's no excuse. The two INT's were on underthrown balls to Jordy. It's better to have the ball barely out of reach of the receiver than to have it barely behind where the corner has a shot at it.

This sounds whiny...but I really feel like we're getting picked on this year. We can't seem to get a big break.
Sure, we've gotten breaks...but not on a long 3rd down play (offense)....or any that take points on or off the board. Maybe its our team...it just seems they have it in for the guys in purple thus far.

I don't think i've seen Josh make any terrible decisions this season.
-
Why didn't you show Reesing's stats?? He's been playing against superb talent.

Same. Which is good, because he made a lot of terrible decisions last year, so narrowing that down will help.
He's got the talent. When will he be able to control it? Hell if I know. But if he has the talent and can make good decisions, good things will happen.
-
SJSU, currently the 97th ranked pass defense in college football.
-
Stat whores piss me off. (football)
-
ok tcu does have a good defense so ill give colt mccoy that but wake is not who they were last year.

He made 2 yesterday, and got away with a few more.

Central Michigan sucks, they got wacked by ku!!! Come on Sandman. :ku:

SJSU's two starting corners combined for the most interceptions in the nation last year if I remember correctly..
-
wake and tcu may have better secondaries than sjst but texas and nebraska also have better olines to give the qb time to make decisions, so i'd call it a push.

I don't know if you're joking or not, but his first INT was to a guy that was covered smothered by the defender. It was a bad decision to got there, and made it worse by underthrowing it.

McCoy played like crap against Arkansas State, and made several horrible decisions in the first half against tcu. Honestly he's not playing any better than Freeman right now.
He does have more weapons than Freeman, so I expect that to change.

My hope is we catch them sleeping. That sounds laughable since they're "blacking us out" (fairies) but if we come out with tenacity like we started the Auburn game, we can win.

His first INT against SJSU was a terrible decision. His second was just a poorly thrown ball, but would have had a chance had he given it enough arm, so I wouldn't chalk that one up to decision making.

SJSU's two starting corners combined for the most interceptions in the nation last year if I remember correctly..
They also gave up 270 yards passing and 520 yards total against Arizona St. Losing 45-3. Yes, Central Michigan is better than San Jose St. I feel pretty comfortable saying that.
-
They also gave up 270 yards passing
Well, they gave up 272 to us. Good argument, slut.

Honestly no one has any clue who is better between the two and to pretend like you do is dumb. Central Michigan gave up a bunch of yards and points to ku just as San Jose did to ASU. Both teams were bowl teams and pretty good last year and probably are not as good this year. The WAC is a stronger conference then the MAC but Central Michigan will probably finish higher in their league then San Jose will in the WAC.

You do realize you're supporting my argument that San Jose St.'s pass defense isn't very good. You do realize you're in direct contradiction with the KSU fans who are trying to convince folks that San Jose St. pass d is good? In essence, you have supported my argument.
Slut?

Not at all...our pass offense is just that good. Whore.

That's a fair argument, right there. And at least you didn't call me a slut or whore. I should have stated that it is my opinion that Central Michigan is better than San Jose St. Lord knows I've been wrong before, but it is my belief.

I didn't say SJSU had one of the best pass defenses last year. I said their corners combined for the most interceptions last year. A lot like Aquib Talib...gets burnt a lot but still makes a lot of interceptions.

Other numbers you might want to see:
John Houlik (backup LB) - 11 tackles, 9 solo :ksu: :katpak: :ksu:
Starting DL (Jackson-Cline-Manu) - 11 tackles, 7 solo :ohno: :blank: :ohno:

With Moore out, could we see a re-shuffle of the LBs to get Campbell, Walker, Roland and Houlik on the field together?
