When they beat us in manhattan it won't be a total shock to our systems.
discuss.
-
You'll be at home for that one too.
-
I'm working on tix, don't want to sit in the upper deck. i'm planning on going down to manhattan that weekend, might just try to hit up a scalper.
-
This is the first year I haven't had season tickets since 1992. I just thought I would put that out there because I feel guilty for not being at the game.
-
You'll be at home for that one too.
yeah, its hard to be at every home game when youre a &@#%ing student, walking distance from the field.
-
lol at this thread. ku rips a pre-season MAC favorite that lost some NFL players(that hurts MAC teams who can't reload btw) and a 1AA and now we're going to lose. OH NO!!
-
They have been pretty even with us since 04 including 2 wins. I don't see why it is a foregone conclusion that they can't beat us.
-
SanJose St. had some success with the QB run game, that's what concerns me as it relates to ku.
-

In Lawrence.
SE Louisiana is 1AA and their first season of college football was 2003. Big time win in Lawrence tonight IMO.
-
They are pounding teams that they should and not making mistakes, we are not finishing games and making mistakes against teams we should win handily against. Plus as mentioned in another thread they have 2 weeks.
-
ku won't beat us in Manhattan. Nuff said. Anyone willing to accept defeat by ku right now don't know what they are looking at. :kugayfight: :kugayfight: :kugayfight: :kugayfight: :kugayfight:  :twobirds:

On a neutral field, I think ku would win. That's a slightly biased statement, but whatever. Mangino's teams suck on the road, dropping our chances of winning below 50%. If we beat you guys, that means we'll start the season 6-0 (baylor after you) and hopefully 7-0 (cu on the road next).
-
i'd agree with that, the difference right now is that ku is not making the mistakes that we are.

Remember when we used to play those teams that would always have a long snapper put one over the punter's head and were just comically bad? Those are the teams ku is playing. Mangino has lined up 4 cupcakes and a bye week just to try and beat us. It reeks of stinky, greasy desperation and it will be hilarious when they get spanked.
We are not losing to ku ok? We just aren't.
-
i agree. we beat ku.
but remember when the punter didnt even go on the field for us vs. a&m.?
-
Good God I hope you are right Kat Kid, for all our sakes I hope you are right.
OU.

slightly. You have absolutely zero substance to support your belief other than your own favoritism.
I won't say who would win on a neutral field. ku has yet to play anybody worth a damn.
I know this...by the time ku and KSU play the beaks will not have been tested by any team worth a damn while KSU will have gone on the road to play both Auburn and Texas. Me thinks we might be a bit more battle tested, resilient, and rugged by such encounters.
I'm not saying ku's a bad team...we just can't say anything definitively either way at this point and won't know until you step on the field in Manhattan.
-

Oh, you mean when Snyder was coach? Yeah, that was the worst.
-
I forgot about that senile old Grandpa, thank god we are bold and daring now.

i dont care who was coach. it was funny as hell.

We will certainly be battle tested, we better be resilient and we might be rugged or ragged depending.
We need to stay healthy, cut down the penalties and get Josh to start making better decisions with the ball (get the ball out faster, don't stare down receivers and don't hang the ball up over the middle or to the sidelines).

when we were consistently rolling cupcakes, we were good.

It was funny as hell because it didn't mean anything. That season was completely lost.
What were we talking about?

Baby steps...I'd settle for one game where Freeman didn't turn it over.

nothing really. i just popped in my head.
i had 1.50$ draws tonight.
-
That game sucked because it was right after North Texas when I thought we were back and Webb was going to have a Roberson year.

zacker, you're clearly hating on the Golden boy if you include his fumble but don't include his rushing td.

Crap, I thought I put 2 TD's, but I guess not. I'll change it.

the 4 INT/5 TO is still hurtful to me. Maybe 4 INT/1 fumble?
That looks Waaaay sexier. The two numbers add up to 5 instead of 9.
-
This is the first year I haven't had season tickets since 1992. I just thought I would put that out there because I feel guilty for not being at the game.
Got 2 tickets for $10 from some Highschool kid... they were horrible seats in section 2B, but I could clearly see bill snyder in the box from where I was sitting.
-

Did you not see the ducks Reesing threw and were caught by, I'm assuming, the intended receiver? A decent defense would have at least broken up the play.
We would easily intercept those, but only after roughing the passer. :curse:

Also Thought I'd update everyone for how much $$ I'm saving so far this season.
Almost spent $600 for season tickets for my wife and I
So far this season I've spent $260 on tickets to San Jose, Kansas & Mizzou, and got free tickets to next weeks game from my boss at work.
That leaves Two games that I need tickets to; Colorado and Baylor. I would have to spend $341 between those two games in order to lose money on the season. Absolutely insane.

It's funny how Central Michigan went from a team that would beat ku to a team that just totally sucks. BTW, they put up 52 on Toledo this weekend.
Kat Kid, you still want to make that bet?
-
They also allowed over thirty points to Toledo. So your defense is good but your offense is comparable to a HORRIBLE Mid-American team? Sounds good to me.

And you choked to Toledo almost a year ago, so that means... ?
Oh frack I think the universe is going to collapse in on itself. HIDE.

That was @OU. You are a horrible K-State fan for not distinctly remembering the coolest play in K-State history.

The offense is far from horrible, and Central Michigan is probably the best team in the MAC.
Kat Kid, I paid Blackshirts last year after I lost the bet that ku would win at Nebraska. I'm good for it. You're still spotting me 7 points right?
-
Toledo QB > Reesing
Toledo QB on road @ C. Michigan = 381 yards passing and 3 TD - 0 int
LOL at Toledo defense...gave up 52 in first weekend @ home to Purdue.
-
Another reason why ku cant win in MHK, not only because we are the better team, but because Mangino/ku cant win on the road.

quite possibly the most flawless argument ever posted in the history of teh interwebs.

If ku loses in Manhattan, kufan should off himself.

LOL. Reesing only played one half of football. 261 yards and 4 TD's in one half. Nice try.

It's a safe assumption that Kstate is still in ku's head mentally..and that should account for at least one frack-up when they come visit us.
and for as much trash as they are talking right now.....do you really think there will be any comparison between playing in the friendly confines of Memorial against teams like SE Louisiana (d-1aa)....and @ KState to start your conference season. Talk about a difference in speed.
