Wow.

With Notre Dame and Penn State up next, just imagine the meltdown there would be after an 0-4 start.  That game next week could be one of the most anticipated, most desperate 0-2 matchups of all time.

The story lost in all this is how worthless the pre-season polling is. It won't end, though, because being able to play-up No. X vs. No. 7 in September supposedly generates more money for the networks (and conferences). The AP and Coaches polls shouldn't be released until a week before the BCS Poll, in October. Then we'd have true rankings, after 5 or 6 weeks of on field action.

As it is now, if a team isn't ranked in the pre-season, it has no chance to win a national title (AP's or BCS).

Big 11 teams are not fast and and have always had a tough time against really athletic teams.

I'm loving this.  Normally, I wouldn't care.  But the buttwipe that WAS my boss resigned last week to take a job closer to Ann Arbor to watch his son play at UM.

VY is superior to Dixon. Let's see him play against the Trojans and not get hit by a defensive lineman all night (as VY did).
