Great story. He seems like a kid you can root for rather easily. Hopefully he'll make SJSU regret not doing more then just bringing him in for a visit.

here is a cool worthless nugget... Santa Monica Community College is in the city that I grew up in - we didn't have a football field, so we played there - some more worthless info? Sure, Santa Monica Community College was located on Pico Blvd and earned such nicknames as "Pico-Tech" and the "University behind Burger King". Good Community College though - Abana is a freaking animal - there is a video of him on insidekstatesports that has to be seen to believe.
