than int's on the season, after Saturday!
I talked with the football God's while at Auburn. Apparently, they have decided he will no longer have to suffer junk int's! They were impressed that he never whined about having to pass that pup test at the same speed Deon Murphy did. The two int's at Auburn somehow closed the door on that part of his career. The fumbles, too. So ku my want to hold on tight. They will be rocked severely on October 6th! Mob Rules!

Josh Freeman's career numbers
327 passing attempts
6 touchdowns
17 interceptions
Under 6 yards per attempt
QB rating under 100
:-X
-
JF has gone against unbelievable competition. He'll finally have some cupcakes to fatten his stats.
There is no doubt he's the top big 12 north QB, imo

And to think, he has won more Big 12 games in a season than any ku QB. He's really special!

With dogcrap numbers like that you would think he has gone up against the '76 Steelers, '85 Bears, and '00 Ravens.

He pretty much has.

It is kind of funny how his int numbers always seem to get inflated with picks on hail marry's and stuff like that. Also funny that we had one TD pass on Saturday and Jordy Nelson threw it instead of Freeman.
Kind of the way things have gone numbers wise for Josh but luckily numbers don't really mean much other then the scoreboard. He was good enough to come in last year and get a team that was dead in the water to a bowl game and I think he'll be even better then that this season. This coming Saturday will be his first start against a non BCS team.

Chase Daniel is certainly better.

BRING BACK MICHAEL BISHOP!!!!!!!! :ksu: Geez I bet that even a turd like Allen Everidge could put up better numbers than that.

Saturday will be Soul Glo's first start against a non BCS team. That doesn't include the halves he played against Louisville or Baylor.

That's effing insane. 4-3 last year with no experience. Dude is the effing rainman of big 12 qb's.

Wow stats from 2006. Need I remind you what season we are currently in? Tell you what, I'll bump this thread on October 7th 2007 and see if those stats are still relevent.

So that's the excuse we're going with? Freeman will finally get his chance to shine once we play some REALLY crappy teams! Who cares if he averages 9 turnovers per game against decent competition as long as he can put up some numbers against bottom feeders like San Jose State!

:ustupid: and the name MOKSUAZ? :loly: Did one of your man tits accidentally flop on to the keyboard when you were trying to enter your name? Only a blind retard would intentionally choose such gibberish.

Check conference numbers. You might be suprised. ;)

4-3 in the Big XII as a Frosh. That's more wins than any ku team in the Big XII ever. Simply amazing.

That's the bottom line. A TRUE FRESHMAN with 4 conference wins as a starter in the Big 12. We're not talking about a red shirt freshman here. TRUE FRESHMAN.
Last Saturday, a TRUE SOPH was 2 minutes from a win on the road at ranked Auburn in front of 87,000 LOUD opposing fans. He looked calm and composed against one of the best defenses in the nation. He was accurate. He was tough.
There is not a head coach in the Big 12 who wouldn't give their left nut to have a player like Josh Freeman.

that's cute. obviously you and miss teen south carolina should get together and buy a map. then locate the states of Missouri (my home state) and Arizona (where i lived at the time when i made the name). i'm sure you have some homework to do with mom and dad so i'll keep it at that.

He's not better, just older and gutsier. I hate Chase, but he's a beast. I've seen him drop his head into a Nebraska linebacker to get a first down. Josh would just have &@#%ed up on a slide.

Freeman graduated a semester early. So we're talking about a difference of 6 months experience between him and Meier in their first years. And only one of them was healthy all year.
Last Saturday, a TRUE SOPH was 2 minutes from a win on the road at ranked Auburn in front of 87,000 LOUD opposing fans. He looked calm and composed against one of the best defenses in the nation. He was accurate. He was tough.
And he couldn't lead his guys to the endzone, but managed to turn the ball over plenty. Loved your defense, but the offense needs work.
There is not a head coach in the Big 12 who wouldn't give their left nut to have a player like Josh Freeman.
Sure coaches might take him...as a TE. Teams that run the spread offense wouldn't want a slow turnover machine at QB. And the spread is all about scoring lots of points...

If Freeman is so bad, why does he win at a much higher rate than any ku qb since...???

How often did the KSU defense give up big leads in the 4th quarter? And I never said they were good, just experienced.
Freeman could turn out to be very good. I just don't think I could be optimistic as a KSU fan given his numbers to date. I'm still pissed that Meier gave up 10 INT last year, even though he scored 18 TD.

Agreed. The worst teams he's started against are Colorado and Iowa State imho. The rest of the list is Ostate, @Kansas (superbowl lol), #10 Rutgers, #15 NU, # 5 Texas-W , #16 @Auburn,
Think about that.
Freeman didn't start until we were into the conference slate last year....
-
So that's the excuse we're going with? Freeman will finally get his chance to shine once we play some REALLY crappy teams!
That's what Kerry Meier and Reesing have built their careers upon thus far...and three conference wins between them.
Freeman...4 in his first six starts with a Top 5 win and a post season appearance to boot.
Class dismissed.

Not our problem fatass can't recruit talent like Yamon to ku. Have fun with Talib...but he aint a "X" man like Figurs, Newman, etc.
QB's have to have someone to throw to...so I agree with the point that Figurs helped out Freeman...but now we have Jordy Nelson and Deon Murphy....who both looked pretty solid Saturday night.
-
Optimism reigns at KSU because he took the team on his shoulder in the last 4 and half minutes versus OSU. He was lights out on the road at Colarado. He lit of Texas and we had no rushing game and the gave up 42 points. And w/o a rushing game against the best D we'll see, he completed threw for 268 yard. Wait till he hits his stride. The best part about all of this is we know we haven't seen his best game yet.
Oh, this just in from the Dallas Morning News: "The conference had six signal-callers who led their teams to bowls as freshmen or sophomores last season: Texas' Colt McCoy, Texas A&M's Stephen McGee, Texas Tech's Graham Harrell of Ennis, Missouri's Chase Daniel of Southlake Carroll, Oklahoma State's Bobby Reid and Josh Freeman at Kansas State. "
Where's your guy?
