'Cloudy' Cox couldn't focus (http://www.al.com/auburnfootball/mobileregister/index.ssf?/base/sports/118889745948580.xml&coll=3)
"I was a little fuzzy," Cox said. "I was pretty banged up. I was out of it much of the game. I got my bell rung pretty good."
On Monday, the first day this week that players were available for interviews, Cox had a bruised thigh, a sore neck and a hurt shoulder.
Alternate title for this thread was "Mob gives Cox a licking" but I decided against it.

(I really want a Lynch Mob emoticon.) Possible??

if only we had an offense. we would have killed them.

Lets remember how our offense looked in the season opener last year against Ill. St. This year they looked much better, imo, at Auburn (slightly better competition). So, Im still a bit optimistic about the offense but we'll see.

The was a top notch defense.
-
im sure it was, but i just wanted to see the ball move consistently.
didnt we knock out a couple of defensive players?
au's defense is great, but we had them backed up...
why not keep backing them up.

It was a calculated game plan that was backing them up. If you push those too hard they just don't work at all.
-
you have them pinned-go for the throat.
oh, we kept false starting.
my bad.
lets leave him in.

There wasn't a guy behind Alesana on the depth chart...I don't know why. Just sayin'...

lets wonder why.
what happens if broke a leg?
-
We had 175+ yrds of penalties. Alesana squared had about 20 yards. You'd jump early too if you were staring Quentin Groves down.
-
While he could not pinpoint which hit caused his mental fuzziness...
:woohoo:  :dancin:  :hookem:

I have no idea why. If a broken leg occurred then the plan would probably have been to put our backup RT in at LT. If that was the plan then it would probably explain why there was no backup LT listed. If both tackles go out...well, then we're f*cked.
