Notre Dame won't return our calls.

I'd rather play a quality opponent anyway.

If we ever play ND, my grandfather would turn over in his grave...as he was an ND grad.
I'm not really an ND fan, but I don't hate them either (like I do Nubb & CU).
I would love to see KSU play some of those teams. Keeps season ticket holders interested, IMO.

Damn, I guess I didn't realize we don't play Auburn next year.  I was looking forward to hosting them at BSFS.  Then again, having both them and Louisville in one years OOC schedule would be a bit of a nightmare.  (I know Brohm will be gone, but Cantwell will still be around, won't he?)

Wow. That is an impressive list of teams. IMO good riddance to Non-Con sets with McNeese State, UMASS, and Eastern Illinois.

Cantwell should be around, and is the projected #1 pick whenever he is done with CFB.

Did I see correctly that we travel in the future to North Texas to play?   Surely that's a misprint.

Umm, we still play UMass again in 2009.  Also, it is easier to play at least one big-time opponent when there are four non-con games instead of three every year.  I'm glad the NCAA finally changed to a standard 12-game schedule.

I'm all for one game against a top 25 team, (Penn State, Miami, UCLA, etc.) one against a middle of the pack BCS, (i.e. Minnesota, Pudue, etc.)  and two against cupcakes.  That way we get the respect and experience from two games, and get some of our reserves some PT in the other two.
