Title: Crowd at Auburn
Post by: ksufan101 on September 02, 2007, 10:29:12 AM
Very nice stadium and a bunch of classey fans.
1) Quietest stadium I've ever been in. No crowd noise at all.
2) Kstate section made more noise than the Auburn fans.

your offensive line may not agree with that assesment based on the number of false starts they had.

Agree completely. It was louder at the Texas game last year with 48,000 than yesterday at 87,000 Jordan Hare.

Very surprised at how quiet it was.

I have trouble believing that. The crowd noise was louder on tv than any game I can remember. I understand that you were there but the announcers sure thought it was one of the loudest stadiums they'd been to. It could be different because of where you were in the stadium. Regardless, don't be a homer. If it wasn't the crowd noise that helped them out in the end then we have serious problems with guys forgetting the snap count.

At one point in the game the K-S-U Wildcats chant led by Willie was loud and clear on TV.  It must have been shortly after the touchdown.

The last two minutes sounded extremely loud on TV.
