I didn't see a performance like that coming.
-
He's emotionally neutral.
And he looks glorious in HD.
-
stats tragically skewed.
His fumble and interceptions were very flukey and unrepresentative.
-
I loved the fumble, pick it up, throw a dart for a first down sequence.
-
did his injury hurt his perform?

did his injury hurt his perform?
Yes. He wasn't as effective when he wasn't mobile enough for them to move the pocket.

I don't think it was a huge factor, but I think it hindered him.
I loved the fumble, pick it up, throw a dart for a first down sequence.
Beautiful stuff.

Most completions in a game for a KSU QB since...
That's right: Chad May @ Nebraska in 1993. (30/50, 489 yds, 3 TD)
-
Freeman completed 32 of 57 passes for 268 yards and was intercepted twice, including on Kansas State's final possession after Coleman's fumble return.
Freeman's passing numbers rank as some of the best in school history. His 32 completions rank as the second-most in school history and most since Chad May had 33 against Kansas on Oct. 6, 1994, while his 57 attempts are the third-most in school history and the most since Dennis Morrison had 59 against Iowa State on Oct. 21, 1972.
Coaching. No substitute for quality coaching. Some would think that those numbers would produce more than a few points, but they would be crazy stupid.
Kansas State players were stunned afterward. As Auburn fans went wild in a stadium that was nearly all orange, the Wildcats gathered in a tight group in front of their bench and walked off the field in formation. A few thousand fans dressed in purple cheered.
 :ku:

I thought they said on TV that Josh had set a new record?

Yeah, most (all?) sacks came after the injury.

Josh did have 32. My bad. Still, Chad May

did his injury hurt his perform?
Tubberville said after the game that they changed their defensive strategy once they noticed that Josh was hurt. They said they pressured a lot more.

Two sacks in the game. All came in the last minutes of the fourth quarter.

Also- you'd have to think actually being able to run the ball will help the passing game out. Imagine if the D actually had to worry on something other than Freeman and the WRs. I doubt we will see many more Ds like Auburn's this year, so I expect Johnson and Patton to have some big games, feeding off the air attack.

Also made it much more difficult for the O Line - after the injury, auburn's defense tee'd off knowing they would find JF in the pocket rather than rolling/scrambling around
