Title: dirty
Post by: slucat on September 01, 2007, 11:15:52 PM
Did it seem like we had an unusually high number of sort of questionable plays that were borderline dirty? Helmet to helmet contact, couple facemasks, late hits? Seemed a little out of ordinary for a KSU team.

Also on a related note, there seemed to be a lot of celebrating by the D and it was just sort of ugly to see on national tv I love a good play and I'd rub their faces in it too, but I don't know if its just I don't see a lot of games on tv since i am usually at them or this was typical.  seemed like after every hit, great play or not there was a bunch of posing

-sorry if this is powertardish :ku:

Hustling isn't dirty.

Whatever it takes.

If they were going to call the penalties anyways (and they were, see: Jordy's reverse facemask), might as well get your money's worth.

Not really, it was plays from the heart.  Facemasks tend to be accidental and often are just because that's where the hands land and so it's easy to grip.  There was one that was actually a shoulder take down and the one of jordy was bullshat.

I don't think they were dirty, I absolutely loved the hustle and aggression. I would have killed for this 2 years ago.
