What's My Name - Players who will be household names by Oct. 1

Ian Campbell, DE, Kansas State

Conference Picks - Mark It Down

Big XII North

Sleeper - Kansas State

Last season's win over Texas has the Cats believing they can play with anyone in the Big 12. Considering they open the season on the road at Auburn, they better believe! All kidding aside, if Josh Freeman improves as a sophomore, the Cats will contend in the Big 12 North.

I'm disappointed that we didn't make the Top 10 Gameday locations. We had the attendance record not too long ago (maybe we still do).

Not sure, but I think Va Tech broke it a few years back. Since then I think we may have dropped a few more spots.

I'm in mid season form. The Most Wonderful Time of the Year begins on Saturday and goes through March. As far as the Gameday attendance record is concerned.....I thought we set it during a home game against Oklahoma. I was there. Seeing the guys was great but it's not something you need to do more then once.

He left that goon Talib off his DB's list.

Kirk hates Kansas football. This is evident.

1. Ohio State -- Last season's Ohio State versus Michigan game proved again why Columbus is at the top of the list. Not only was it No. 1 versus No. 2, but with Bo Schembechler's passing on the eve of the game, it added to the history of the rivalry. Fans from both teams embraced the history and embraced one another more so than I ever remember. Just another reason why Columbus always has a place at the top of this list.
