Title: AU Alum here, is your team as beat up as ours?
Post by: alphatiger1 on August 22, 2007, 07:19:33 PM
Kickoff return specialist Tristian Davis (led nation last year) will miss the game, Starting WR Montez Billings (hamstring) and offensive guard Byron Isom (knee) just returned to practice Tuesday, but doubt they will start. Starting Fullback Carl Stewart (hamstring) has not practiced in three weeks and may not play vs KSU.  2nd string Tailback Mario Fannin (groin), starting right guard Leon Hart (ankle) and freshman fullback John Douglas (ankle) are doubtful for kSU.

We will probably start a true freshman, and RS freshman at right tackle and guard vs KSU.   Your D will be licking their chops.  We are down to two RBs at the moment.

Make me feel better and tell me that KSU is not 100%.

10 days and counting.  Can't wait!

Our quarterback is out of shape and is a turnover machine. We don't have a LG according to our own head coach. Our starting nose tackle just left the team. Our starting TE/2nd leading receiver was just suspended. Me thinks Auburn fans shouldn't be too worried.

Maybe both teams will be taking volunteers from the student body.   Two biggest losses for us right now is SR RG Leon Hart, a guy that's been in the system for 4 years and last week screws up his ankle so bad, they don't know when he will be back.

The other is T. Davis.  One of the fastest guys on the team.  He is 4th string RB, so not much of problem there, but he led the nation in KO Returns.  With the KO's back at the 30, that will be an oppty lost.

I think it will be a close game, unless your QB just turns it over a ton.  We have too many Fresh and RS Freshmen we are counting on to be a well oiled machine early in the season.

If you come down to AU, you will have a great time.

alphatiger, we will be lucky if some of our linemen don't have to play iron man.....and most of them can't even play on one side of the ball with any proficiency.

Our Oline and Dline are very very thin, not so much due to injuries but to suspensions and guys leaving the team.  Our skill guys will be VERY solid.  But i am very worried about our Oline and the Dline outside of Mr. Jackson.

Well, if Auburn promises to only throw the ball, and not rush our QB, then I'd say we got a great chance!

How about just a "Five Mississippi" rush?

I'm disappointed in the KSU response.

The correct reply was "Nice preemptive excuse you racist f*ck."

War Beagle is worth a couple of points... have to give you that one.

Don't get War Kegal and pic thingy...

First games is just two hand touch on the QBs, be sure your players know the SEC rules 8)

Bring your binocs... great scenery in AU!
