Title: How bad does this sound???
Post by: Pett on August 20, 2007, 07:10:12 PM
You want some Olu with your Smoke.

 :ksu:

If we get even one of our top 3 LB targets for the 2007 class this LB corps will be the best since TNT's in '02.

Our top three LB targets for 2007 class:

1. Brown
2. Slaughter
3. Reeves

And if we get Arthur it will be the best LB corps in the Big XII in quite some time.

Slaughter is a good name for a LB.

So many on this site are guilty of exactly what many KSU fans make fun of NU fans for, hyping highly ranked recruits.  Statements like "will be the best in big12" are insane.  How do you know Patterson, Olu, or even Arthur are going to be great in college?  Even players as tallented as Brown sometimes fail.  I doubt Brown will fail, but wow best in big12 based on rankings?  I'd bet money that it wouldn't even be the highest ranked lb core in terms of highschool rankings even with getting Brown.  Oklahoma and Texas , and to a lesser extent NU and maybe from now on always have many highly ranked linebackers.

Raw talent baby, raw talent.

A. Brown wont fail, Patterson has been evaluated three different times in HS & JUCO. (5*, 5*, & 4*), and Hall is a freak athlete who played as a true frosh at Virginia.

Already proven players.

I wish you would shut up.

It's just that Callahan isn't a very good coach.
