He pretty much got a 1-year pass on that deal. After the first season he's going to have to prove to the blue chips that he can win enough games to merit their attention. :flush:

Ever is a long time. Think about it. E-V-E-R.

In the grand scheme of college sports, football is king. I'd much rather have a great football team than a great basketball team. And we are still a football school, at least until make the NCAAs a few times in a row while, at the same, our football program continues to struggle.

that is a tough one, just because of the streak.

I'd pick beating NU in lincoln. that would pretty much be very "kstate in the house" esque.

Clinching the North by beating NU in Lincoln and getting the 2nd NU coach canned in 4 years = priceless. While it would be awesome to sweep ku in basketball, what's one more year? We'll get it in the next 5 years anyway. We are a football school so I could wait a couple more years for the basketball win if need be.

NU in a heartbeat. ku is probably the last team that I care about beating.

It really depends where you are from. Nebraska is basically irrelevant out here.
