not yet...but I do think he knows what he is doing.  The proof come up the line.  I like what I see to this point.

All I know is it's August and waks' prediction has not come true.  And no PM from him.   :frown:

I'll reserve judgment personally on whether he has a clue. But regardless of whether he has a clue when it comes to coaching, if he can't bring in better recruits, good luck competing in the Big 12.

Bandwagon Cornhole Fan . . . please post your coaching resume, so we can determine if you are capable of evaluating college football talent.

Thanks.

It doesn't take any coaching experience to realize that a bunch of two star recruits aren't going to get it done against quality competition in a conference like the Big 12.

How many of those kids will never even see the field? Far more two star guys end up as washouts than four and five star guys.

How many of those kids will end up being top-level players? Far fewer two star guys wind up being major contributors than four and five star guys.

I'm frankly amazed that you don't have any four or five star guys in your class. And you only have four 3-star guys. That just doesn't give you the kind of talent you need to consistently compete at the top levels.

Nebraska for example has 2 5-stars, 4 4-stars, and 7 3-stars. We have a lead on a couple of 5-star JUCOs, and rumor has it we're closing on a couple of more guys that will be high 4-star guys, and might even squeak into the 5-star category.

Until you get top talent, you're going to struggle to remain relevant in the Big 12.

Mmm-hem, so relevance is based on the star rating of recruits done by never played a down in their lives geeks working for rivals and scout.com??

Speaking of relevance, it's not been fully determined yet that Nebraska is relevant yet again in the Big 12 . . . winning a weak North, and obtaining a moral victory (by golly we really played well on the LOS that game . . . say Cornhole fans) in the Big 12 CCG does not fully qualify a team as relevant.   Particularly knowing that NU is 3-4 in their last 7 games.

Oh but wait, Keller is a Heisman Candidate, and Sipple has got his Cornhole kneepads on.  Nevermind.

That's funny, because all those 5-4 stars have done nothing for you but beat out a weak North - 1 time since they've been there.

"This is the 4th year, those freshman are now seniors... this is the year we restore the order!"

Honestly, how can you be so gullible to believe that a 4-5 star shouldn't be expected to perform until his senior year?  5 losses is the best you have to show for it. Not to mention some of the most embarrassing losses in Nebraska history.

Or, for Callahan, "regardless whether he has a clue when it comes to recruiting, if he can't coach it better, good luck competing in the Big 12."

Yeah, it's a good thing Snyder consistently brought in top 10 recruiting classes, or we would have struggled to remain relevant in the Big XII under his watch.

...

.......Oh, wait a sec...

Jon McGraw-walk on
T. Newman-1 or 2 stars?
Leber
Simoneau
Pierce

Need I go on?

Anyone remember what the last few really highly rated JC guys have done for us?  I can think of one 5 star QB..and a slew of highly rated washouts on the line on both sides of the ball...off the top of my head.

I'll see what happens with these "lowly" recruits the Nubbsters keep talking about.

I'm just JACKED the man has made it to where KSU football actually starts playing games rather than glorified scrimmages in early September.

I don't subscribe to premium but the assumption is that the guys Prince offered early have a rising stock.

I'm wondering if the opinino of rivals is biased...and or our recruits are getting letters from fatass in Lawrence or Slashahan to coat tail our picks.

Sometimes a players demand can raise his ranking.

Or your recruiting class could just suck because Prince is a crappy recruiter and noone with any talent has any interest in playing for a third rate football team. Just a thought.

Oh, and listening to you talking about how recruiting doesn't matter, and rankings don't matter, and getting talented players is just an overhyped process anyway, so no big deal doesn't get annoying. Then as soon as someone with two or three stars mentions Kansas State in their Top 20 list, you're climbing over each other to get to the guy's Facebook or MySpace page and tell him what an awesome handsome stud he is, and how much you love him. It's pretty amusing how hypocritical you are. Frankly, you probably scare a lot of recruits that way, as they must be thinking they'll have to spend four years sleeping on their backs with the lights on after hearing from some of you people.

So what you read on here is annoying?  Let me get this straight, You don't like what we, as KSU fans, post on here, a KSU message board?  I don't know if anyone told you this, but you don't have to stay.  The fact that you remain here only reiterates what everyone thinks of nubb fans (save one) on this site: merely searching for validation, and too stupid to leave.
