Can anyone explain how these work at K-State? And does anyone know how someone would go about walking on for next year?
-
Shoot an email to anyone on this list:
http://www.kstatesports.com/SportSelect.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=400&KEY=&SPID=212&SPSID=3070
They can probably direct you to the proper place.
-
Which one would be the best to email?
And if anyone can explain this greyshirt thing that would be awesome :D
-
I'd just email Prince.
I emailed him to bitch about his Butler tirade and he replied in like 15 minutes.
-
I belive it is where you not only don't play but you don't practice and are not on scholarship for that years first semester so if you were to walk-on this would not affect you. All this does is give you an extra year of eligibility as you are still allowed to redshirt the following year.
you could end up with 6 total years
1. greyshirt
2. Redshirt
3. Freshman
4. Soph
5. JR
6. Sr
I have a fried that made it as a walk-on he tried out in the spring as a freshman and did not make it but they told him they liked what they saw and told him to comeback to a tryout that summer and he did. He ended up making the team and is currently on the roster. I belive Sean Snyder handles the walk-ons.
-
When are walk-on tryouts usually held?
-
Email Sean Snyder, voice your strong interest in walking on with the Kansas State football team and ask for any information that he could give you. Here, I'll write the email for you. Just insert your name, Highschol, and contact info.

I'm assuming you didn't just graduate as it's probably too late if your wanting to walk on this year. You should have done this months ago. School is starting and practices have already been going on for a week. It's probably too late for this year. You need to display your dedication to football by being on this thing as soon as possible. If it's Next season you're thinking about, I'd start getting ready now.

Any chance you are a 6'2", 255lb Fullback that runs a 4.5 and has soft hands?

165, huh....
You're gonna need to look into getting your hands on some Anavar, Dianabol, and synthetic testosterone. Stack all these into a couple of decent cycles between now and walking on, while allowing enough time for your system to clean out prior to any medical physicals.
You should have plenty of time to easily add 20+ pounds of lean, SOLID muscle and decrease your 40 speed at the same time.
good luck with all that.

don't let these yahoos discourage you. Make the effort and see what happens, who knows, in 3 or 4 years with weightroom and mega meals you might be out there on the field.
-
If you improve your measurables and have a good senior season K-State will notice and you may receive recruiting information. If it is deterined that you have any deal of talent or promise you can be extended a preffered walk-on status meaning you do not have to try out.
