I really hope even with that article that you'd compare your QB and his accomplishme....oh yeah ... nevermind....

Cox has lost a total of 3 games as a starter in 3 years under center.   Read alllllll the articles you want.   8)

yep, prolly had nothing to do w/ the talent Cox had surrounding him...it was all about Cox winning those games.  Nevermind Grubbs, McNeil, Aramashadu, Obamanu, the RB's, and those defenses.

It was Cox.

3 loses is very impressive, but since football is a team sport.  How many games has Brandon won.  I am not familar with his career.  I do know that as a true freshman Freeman helped the Cats beat the #4 UT Longhorns and he had an impressive game at CU.  I am excited about Freeman's future and once his senior year comes maybe we can compare the two QB's a little bit better.

I know it's a team sport, but since Einstein decided to post an entire new thread about how "Cox" was the #3 over-rated player on that particular list, the response was about him....

First off, we have cattle in KS.  Ok now that subject is clear.  I was just posting what another person has said about Cox.  I know that you have post on your board about Freeman being overweight.  I am not interested in the SEC confrence, I am only intrested in who the cats play.  I hope that the Auburn game is all that it is building up to be.  I guess if you want to spend your time on this site and attack any member who says something bad about your team then go right ahead.

Hippie please!

I'm here in response to the sh_t sandwiches left on our board.  I'm only giving back what I was given.  My first couple posts were very nice, but it's clear that this board is run and participated with by people that know the same amount of football as my 2.5 year old nephew.

So, spare me the poor me speech...

Don't like it....  Suck it up.

I don't see a poor me speech in that last response.  You can't lump every Cat fan into what a few posted on your board, plus it looked like you all really handle the situation over there.  Thanks for the hour or so of humor it provide while I was at work.

#10 had issues last year, and is back on the field with a clean bill and opportunity.  #54 has never been in trouble.

Who's being racist now?  How did you arrive at the "thug" references???

Please Explain?  Racist.

Well, Blackmon was arrested last summer and looks like this: (http://scoreboards.aol.com/images/football/ncaaf/players/80x80/51819.jpg)

And Groves plays dirty and looks like this: (http://collegefootball2007.files.wordpress.com/2007/04/groves-quentin150.jpg)

No racism, it's just the way that they handle themselves. Case closed.

But that's cool that you tried to bring racism into this thread.....no seriously it's cute.  :blank:

Auburn scored 7 points on LSU.  Congrats to the Auburn defense for that win.

LOL at giving the Florida win to Cox.  UF held to 17 points...Auburn put up 14 of their 27 points off a fumble return for TD and a blocked punt return for TD..and ran the ball.

Congrats to Cox on those two wins in which he added next to nothing.

In other news...Freeman scored 4 TD's and threw for 270 in that Texas win.

Good stuff Chopper.

Okay...first off...

What's wrong with the way Blackmon looks?  Racist.

Prove, and show where Groves plays "dirty".  You called him a "thug".  Racist.

See how easy that is?  It's just like you guys all day long.  Over and over and over...

Manhatter -

I've already said it was a team effort, but if you think that you can spin your way through only 3 losses, and say that he had nothing to do with it, then fine.  I'm not sure it takes a genius to understand that Auburn is a RUN team first, THROW second deal.

If you're so "Football Smart", then you should know that.

Seriously....  For a team that can't even win the  Big 12 NORTH, I love hearing you make fun of how we WIN ballgames.  That's an interesting approach.  I'll give you that.

DookiePimp....
Same ol' thing there.  Congrats on catching the "sediment, sentiment" thing earlier.  You are an amazing proofreader.  I commend you.  :users:

LOLlercoaster time.

Last 10 years...

National titles - Big 12 3 SEC 3
SEC titles from west division in 10 years - 4
Big 12 titles from North division in 10 years - 4
Conference titles - Auburn 1 KSU 1

basically in the past 10 years the North has been as good as the SEC West.  Keep in mind LSU sucked from about '97-2000...Ole Miss and Miss St. have sucked in most of the 10 years...Arkansas has been up and down...Bama has been LOL much of that time.

In the 10 years...

KSU has 4 Big 12 North titles
Auburn?  4 SEC West titles.

The SEC West was not a juggernaut until recently...all of the strength in that conference was in the East for basically the first 10 years of the new SEC when ARkansas was added.  In the Big 12 the North was the power the first half of the 11 years of existence.

LOL's abound.

So if everything is SOOOO even Manhatter, why are you guys so worried about September 1?

You blowhard.  You know as well as I do, no matter how you spin the numbers, you guys are leap years behind the SEC West at this point, showing that while they WERE even to some degree, it's obvious that your program has petered out and gone limp.

Spare me.  Face it, you're terrible.  Don't even TRYYYY to tell me about how the Big 12 North is so great.  My GOD the HUMOR!

Oh, I won't pretend the Big 12 North is better than the SEC West at this moment...it isn't.

But I will LOL over how Mizzou absolutely destroyed SEC West Ole Miss and an Okie Lite team we beat manhandled Bama in their bowl game (something like 440 yards to 270) LOL right there.

But I will say w/ this "you can't win the North"...lol, KSU would have pounded anyone in the SEC west over about a 5 year stretch a few years back and that includes lil Auburn of the plains.

We have been down the last few years...okay.  But we're rising...don't sleep on us.  Those 4 new starters on that OL had better get their act together or you will only beat us by 10.

Fortunately for All-Barn, the SEC was a strong enough conference in 2005 that an undefeated All-Barn team got to play in the BCS Championship game...

Oh, wait.

Nevermind.

The BCS had to settle for having the National Champs come out of the Big XII.

Your stupidity is nothing short of amazing from your lack of football knowledge to your inability to grasp the basics of the english language.

What time did the game start for the Nubbies?  Did they get to somehow start later?

FWIW, Callahan has been snatching defeat from the jaws of victory since he was at Oakland.   Nubbs dip$hlt coach GAVE that game to you, y'all didn't "win it".

That's funny.  Everything I've read says that despite a collection of relative "unknowns" they may actually be one of the most talented and young groups since 04'.

Believe what you want to believe Blowhard.  It'll all become evident on September 1.

Chances are we'll go pretty "plain Jane" on you guys, so that we don't show too much of our offense before we hit our real schedule.  Cox might go 10 of 20 again, but we'll run for 270 on you in the meantime.  Time of possession is a bastard too.  If you watched that South Carolina game, you'd noticed we didn't allow SC to touch the ball the entire 3rd quarter.

We control the clock, field position and run it down your throat.  It's going to be a long, frustrating night.  Be prepared.

the best part of it is..and sentiments doesn't get it...Auburn is on EST while Nubb on central.  If anything it effected Nubb more.

But good stuff from the klansman.

100+ posts in less than a day. Please leave.

Another racisism quip.  Very original...moving on from that.

Auburn is in Central time as well.  Again, just you guys talking out your ass.

Man, those "quote" boxes really mess with your head huh..

I'll leave soon.  Having too much fun!  :dancin:

That's funny.  Everything I've read says that despite a collection of relative "unknowns" they may actually be one of the most talented and young groups since 04'.

LOL, maybe at TE.  You're definitely better there than you were in '04 but don't even go there about other positions.  There is no Grubbs, McNeil, Cadillac, Ronnie Brown..and your receivers are not what they were then.  And don't even start yappin' about Cox being anything close to Campbell.

Good stuff...so if all of that young talent is akin to 2004...why 178 yards w/ a veteran QB and OL vs. a Nebraska defense which ranked 8th or 9th in Big 12 play in total defense.

thanks.

It was a 10 am start, we came out flat.   Didn't take our best effort at all to put Nebraska away.

Nebraska tried everything in the book against us too.  It was borderline silly.

Cox was a part of the team effort Manhatter, nice little fly fart post again though.

Just another example of a Big 12 fans laughing about Auburn WINNING.

Laugh away you tools.

Hope that helps.

Wow.  What an EXCELLENT rebuttal Dookie!   No facts, no point, nowhere anything said about Nebraska starting at another time.  Nothing.  Again, just you and your ignorance....again.... pointing out another Auburn victory.

Seriously...you suck.

You're the one crying about the start time...

Please tell us why a coach like Tuberville was unable to prepare his kids to start at 10am, yet the corncobs could were able to wake up in time despite having a dumbass like Callahan in charge.

No one's crying here Dookie, and if the Corncobs were so awake, then how come they couldn't take us?

You do know WE won that game...right?

One word:  Callahan

What's this "we" bull$hlt?!?!  Are YOU on the team?   My guess is that you played NO part in it.... ZERO.

Now, with that said... All-Barn didn't "win" the game.   Emerged victorious, yes.... But, certainly didn't "win" it.

Callahan pissed down his leg and gave it away with about a half dozen boneheaded calls including, but not limited to the fake punt, amongst others.

I take it you are new to watching football.

Quote
Brandon Cox was sacked an ungodly 34 times in '06

We led the Big 12 in sacks (actually, we might have been second, someone correct me).

Pocket full of LOL's on that one!

Is it just me or is it totally ridiculous for a redneck from Dixie to call Free Staters racists?  OMG! When did All-burn first allow "coloreds" to attend "your" university?

I hear ya though....way to step out there with the "youtubers" comment though.   :ustupid:...again.

Ya dumbcrap, this has nothing to do with Auburn football, it has to do with Quentin Groves. And yeah, really good youtuber's, you dont even have a highlight video of Quentin (cheap-shotting dudes) on YT.

Auburn's offensive performance the past three years:

2004:  420.69 YPG, #25 in the nation <-- B. Cox is a backup
2005:  409.83 YPG, #37 in the nation <-- B. Cox is a starter, but it will get better, right?
2006:  320.92 YPG, #76 in the nation <-- B. Cox still starting, and regressing
