Title: The Test
Post by: NorthChamps07 on August 05, 2007, 03:17:37 PM
Given those who have seen Freeman say he doesn't look fat at all.  And according Watts and Jordy he worked his butt off all summer.  Maybe the fact that at  6'6" -255 he should be running the test with the lb's abd te, not wr and db's.  Whatever the case he's got to do it or we will be in deep doo-doo.

Freeman will be fine. Nobody should be worrying about this.

yep, a rs freshman with no college experience and a 41% outing versus the scout d is definitely ready.  cc's a good kid but without Reyer's 4 punts inside the 10 the spring game is 0-0.

What were Josh's numbers?

Oh well, we'll all be set strait after the Auburn game.  That should clear everything up.

This is much ado about nothing. You do realize that kids who didn't pass the conditioning test last year still practiced, right? It's really a joke. Do you honestly think Freeman isn't going to "pass" this test? Do you think the coaching staff will allow that happen, especially with Auburn days away? Don't kid yourself.

Surely you aren't suggesting that Ron's system lacks integrity.

Does it have anything to do with D-I college athletics?

My guess is that when the test was designed it didn't take into account that your QB would be as big as your DE's. I wonder if Jamarcus Russell could pass the test... actually I don't wonder, he couldn't.  JF will!
The best thing about this deal is you see his character.  No complaints. No whining.  Just busting his rear to get it done.  Is there another 250 lber on the roster who had to make this in 50 seconds? No because physiology is totally against that size of frame passing the test.  Anyone who does is a freak! :ksu:

So, they still practice?  So this is just to embarass them into being in running shape when practice starts?

He just posts so much to remind us that KSU is not even ku's rival, and that he is in no way concerned.

Now all the players have passed the test.  That was quicker than last year, nice to see them learning.

Of course it would be scary smart to shave 2 seconds off the test for next year.
