Ok, I've heard of Dez for quite a while now. Question, how isn't he a 5 star or in the top 20 players for 2007? LSU fans are even sayingthat he's the #1 WR from last year's class and future 1st team AA. Did he miss a couple of games last year with injury or was it his academics and the ? of him qualifying that didn't rank him higher.
But, he cant be any better than senior Dejuan Woods last year. :hope: :flush:

For all you know about Lamark, he could be playing LB in a few weeks. Niles is 10x the receiver he is right now. And he actually makes LaMark look skinny. Like Hatter said though, Nebraska also has a future star in Curenski Gilleylen.

don't use the word "also" because I don't think much of Niles Paul. But you are correct about Gilleylen...I think he'll be a badass. Very underrated IMO.
Paul = grossly overrated

I read the AA game updates. He kicked ass according to Nubb coverage...and then he dropped in the rankings AFTER that week. What does that tell you?
I really don't care how that week went or what he did. I judge by the tapes and I have guessed accurately on a number of husker flops to this point.
But you can keep on believing all of your kids will live up to their billing. Most were certainly not impressed w/ Paul during that AA game...I remember that very clearly.

Sorry but we saw and I remember how nobody on the rivals100 board was impressed. Then came the persistent lobbying for a month by skers after Paul dropped in the rankings.

First...Lamark ran a 10.8 this spring. I saw that Paul went 11.1 up in Neebraskie at the state meet. Congrats on that speed.
And second...Paul is about 6-1 210 while Lamark is nearly 6-4 220. Who is the little bitch?

EDIT: I watched Niles Paul play in person twice this year and he is not fast, even for NE highschool. GOes up and gets the ball, but not fast. His QB was pretty impressive fwiw. Where did he end up? I think he went D1 but can't remember where. Anyway, Paul was alright but nothing spectacular. I watched this kid out of Fremont play a game and he was pretty impressive. I forget his name but I wish we would have offered him. I think he is walking on at NU and he should be better then Paul fwiw. White kid and was pretty tall.

Well we could always point out Thomas Clayton and Adrian Peterson...but I'll save you the embarrassment because we both know Paul is more like TClayton while Lamark is more Peterson.

arms - hard to say...Lamark doesn't have his elbows bent trying to flex for the cameras.
The short Paul will look funny as a receiver if he keeps lifting...Lamark is god.
And this time next year when we are posting photos of our newcomer Chris Harper...those Paul photos for you will be long forgotten. He's way bigger now as a senior in high school.

LOL this is going to be a fun year. Strength coach Dave Kennedy said this Nebraska group of incoming players is the most athletic he's seen here. And Niles Paul said that most of the newcomers already look like they've been in college for a few years. Good luck to you guys. I'm saying Nebraska by 40 this year in Lincoln.

In Callahan's tenure I have heard that Harrison Beck would break national records, Marlon Lucky would make Adrian Peterson look like a chump, Leon Jackson was a future all-american, I got e-mailed the Kenny Wilson half-pad domination of the Husker D video, I hear about each and every 4 & 5 star recruit that commits and how they will all be Gods but never hear a peep when they flame out, I witness the heart-break every year the "'skers" underperform, I listen to Corn fans spout off about "being on the right track" in order to ignore humiliation. The non-Notre Dame thing to do is accept you are not "dominate" and look to the future. It is OK to talk FBall with other teams fans and talk up your future team but claiming your current team is "dominate" when to the rest of the educated world knows it is not is delusional. I know there is nobody in your state to tell you otherwise. I know that every person who went to Wayne State claims NU as their alma mater. I have witnessed a grown man who went to college in ND cry because his beloved Huskers didn't even try to win against USC. I know that there is nothing else to get behind in the state but I also know ignorance when I see it.

FYI... Lamark packs more weight per inch than Paul. Thus, Lamark is more solid than Niles. Also, in your analogy the 7 foot player would pack more weight per inch than the 6 foot player. You are REALLY bad at this.
