Title: OFFICIAL COUNTDOWN TO ku THREAD
Post by: chum1 on August 03, 2007, 07:04:29 AM: After an unprecendented number of injuries for KSU, one of the worst defenses in the nation channeling the '85 Chicago Bears, and some good old fashioned lucky bounces of the ball, ku managed to hold off KSU in a hard fought, bitter battle to the end in last year's Sunflower Showdown. This year's mantra for KSU:

LIGHTNING WILL NOT STRIKE TWICE!!!

We begin our countdown in Chicago. Because of the '85 Bears thing.

Sorry Piss. I just see so many posts about how no one here cares about ku and how the KSU game is ku's Super Bowl that I got a bit confused when I saw this thread. I will try to make my posts live up to your standards. But you can do better than a Metallica reference. That's too easy and I expect better.

It is fitting that the scheduled release date is October 5th, one day before the ku game, given that a few key injuries were all that kept KSU from winning in Lawrence last year.
