Excellent.

Got to be honest though, as far as Hemenway has let the AD fall, I'd hate to see him go.

Yeah, doubling your AD's revenue has been hard on our AD.  Just think about the boost we will get from Trajan sales!!!   :woohoo:   :nahnah:

I was more thinking the multiple major violations, but, as the ongoing investigation indicates, ku is all about the benjamins.

Exploiting college athletes that at least have the potential to go on and earn money as professional athletes is one thing, but allegedly ku is now exploiting even the minor sport athletes for financial gain.

ku administration -->  :nutkick: <-- ku Student Athletes

We obey the rules.  Win honestly.  Not really a concept you're familiar with.  Amazing...is there any way in which ku hasn't been cheating?

I doubt Mangino is cheating on his wife.

Is he physically able to be 'intimate' with anyone including his wife?  gross

When Mizzou goes to the big 11 making it the big 12 ku can go to the SEC because you know birds of a feather and stuff, and the big 12 becomes the big 10.

No, then we would just kick out Baylor and Iowa State and be to a new Big 8 format, with only 5 of the original teams.

The only ones intimate with Mangino are the towel boys in his bathroom.

See, we are screwing it up again.  How can we get an advantage with this type of attitude?

***********************
“It came as a surprise to us because no one from the New York Attorney General’s office ever contacted us to ask us about it,” Marchiony said. “If they had, we could have supplied them with a very logical explanation.”

That explanation would have included that Kansas does not give out names of current or future student-athletes to UFS, nor does it push its student-athletes in that company’s direction, according to Marchiony. Cuomo found that Dowling College did just that, along with using athletic-department interns to distribute material about UFS to students. Marchiony said that a search for wrongdoing at Kansas wouldn’t be fruitful.

“If they’re looking for something shady,” Marchiony said, “they’re going to be very disappointed.”

...

"UFS, officially named Student Financial Services Inc., is indeed a sponsor of Kansas athletics, but Kansas associate athletics director Jim Marchiony stressed that the department does not receive money from UFS.  “UFS’s relationship is with Host Communications, which owns Kansas athletics’ multimedia rights,” Marchiony said. “So UFS pays Host, not Kansas athletics. Host pays us a fee every year for owning our multimedia rights, then they go out and sell sponsorships. They keep the money for the sponsorships they sell. This is a sponsorship just like Crown Toyota, Holiday Inn, anything else.”

Oh, and it wasn't locked on Phog, just moved to a different forum.

Just a prediction:

Marchiony will soon wish that he hadn't responded so quickly and absolutely on this matter.
