“It’s not the story I would have pictured for the (Vick) family. In the case of a Pacman Jones, clearly the environment is getting the best of him.”

Both Vick brothers are just straight up thugs.  They have proved it on and off the field and there is just no getting around it.  You can take the thug out of the ghetto but you can't take the ghetto out of the thug.

I don't think thats racist.  It's true, if you take a kid who has demonstrated numerous times he is a thug, and give him millions of dollars, he won't stop being a thug.  Now he's just a well funded thug.

Michael Vick has shown himself to be a ghetto thug on the field?

Michael Vick has shown himself to be a ghetto thug on the field?

Flicking off the fans and stomping on opposing players while they are down, at least Marcus Vick did that.  More so off the field stuff though.

Seriously.  Nothing quite like the face of a franchise giving the finger to fans.  What an asshole.

Vick would have been sick in the Snyder offense.

Yeah, so would V. Young and (at least I think) B. Schaffer.  But I guess Bishop, Beasley and Roberson had about as good of a college career as any one of their contemporaries.

I've seen him shoot a couple of D-linesmen, man.  Straight thug.

Did Prince get asked a question about Vick and/or Pacman or did he just feel the need to comment/name drop on an unrelated question?

It's going to get real interesting.

One of Vick's co-defendants has plead guilty:  http://www.timesdispatch.com/cva/ric/news.apx.-content-articles-RTD-2007-07-30-0172.html (http://www.timesdispatch.com/cva/ric/news.apx.-content-articles-RTD-2007-07-30-0172.html)

I'm wondering if Vick was the only NFL player involved in dog fighting, and if he'll play that card to get reduced time.

Remember Joey Porter's pit bull killing that horse?

I wonder if the pit bull was "Tina" or "Nemo"?

I'm pretty sure he was asked about Vick because he recruited him at Virginia.

It sounds like they're looking at Vick as a sort of ringleader in that whole mess.  They're saying superceding charges will be filed, and that Vick's buddies will likely turn on him in exchange for special treatment.  I get the feeling old Vick might actually see some real jailtime on these charges.

The only way he will avoid jail time is by pleading out (I don't see this at all happening because it would ruin his NFL career) or being found innocent (99% of cases tried in federal court end with the defendant being found guilty). It's pretty likely that Vick goes to jail.

I just hope that Vick has a lot of dog loving friends in Denver.

And San Diego.

And I might just call it a year if Peyton Manning gets roped into all this.

Betting that vick will do some jail time... Right now there's a Warden putting an all convict football team together and has an open spot for QB.  They'll have a convict vs. guards scrimage and Vick's good buddy with get killed by an exploding light bulb that was meant to kill Vick. Ohh the drama.  Someone should make a movie about that.  Then when the original movie is too old for most people to know about they should remake it with a modernized cast and have a cameo role for the original Vick, but make his face look all leathery and plastic like because of all of his past plastic surgeries and stuff.  I'd watch them both... Hell I'd probably own the newer one.  :billypopcorn:

That movie (at least the remake) would never get made.  Hollywood is too full of new and bright ideas to drag up movies from the past that have already been made.  Next you're gonna tell me about making movies based on video games and Television shows.  Lunacy!!!

You know what I always wondered?  Why don't they make TV shows about popular Commercial characters... Like the Sonic Guy's/girls/couples.  I'd be all over that.

J/K... Did everyone hear that they're trying to make a TV show out of the Geico Caveman Commercials?  How retarded is that?

Those Sonic commercials are the funniest thing on tv, including the actual shows.
