Title: Recruiting Comparison
Post by: Huskerfan on July 28, 2007, 12:29:17 PM
Just checked out the ratings over on Rivals.com, and you guys are sitting #58 in the country, with two 3-star guys, six 2-star guys, and one not ranked.

That puts you behind Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, Baylor, Missouri, and Texas Tech. Even Kansas arguably has a better class, and is only ranked a couple of spots below you (#60) because their class is currently smaller. They actually have more talent. So if we assume Kansas gets a better class, you end up #10 in a 12 team conference.

Gabbert will be a five star and we'll have several more 4-5 star commits before all is said and done. You guys are looking like you might not even get one four star recruit. We're looking at another Top 10 recruiting class. Things are looking good in Husker Nation.

So your just guessing that our class stays close to the same talent wise and we dont wrap up players like Harper, Reed, Slaughter, etc.....

Right?

Yep, that's a husker..... :shy:

No, actually he found out his sister IS a dude.  Which, when you consider he's been boning her since she was 7, really starts his day off poorly.

Yes, we'd certainly like to have some recruits that were rated more highly by recruiting services.  Unfortunately, KSU doesn't tend to get stars added just because we recruit a guy.  I have to give it to Callahan though, I think he would make a very good used car salesman...fortunately, he doesn't make much of a coach.  I think you'll agree with me on that in a couple more years.

Stars are all that matter and are extremely accurate.  I would also like to suck off Gabbert.

It took quite a bit, but FIFY
