Title: Best soul food restaurant in KC
Post by: JavaCat on July 27, 2007, 08:18:28 AM
Peachtree? Papa Lews? Niecie's? Somewhere else?

I'm in love with the Peachtree (pork chops smothered in gravy!) and have been meaning to try Papa Lew's. Can anybody give a Papa Lew's review?

I've never been.  I've always wanted to go to the Peachtree buffet.  Pretty good?

LOL @ soul food in Kansas.  Try someplace like Tuscaloosa(, Arthur).

No, Strouds doesn't count. Come on, no collard greens? No corn bread? No peach cobbler? They ain't got no soul. The Peachtree Buffet is on my list, but Papa Lew's must come first. If the food at the buffet is as good as the restaurant on Vine then I've got to believe it's perfect.
