Agreed.   The reason why we had assistant coach turnover last year was because Ron had recently seen "Glengarry, Glen Ross."  Tibesar got a Cadillac, Franklin got steak knives, and you know what happen to Morris.

Seriously...good public speaker means what?  Have you heard Joe Paterno speak in public...the man sounds like a cross between Joe Pesci and a ferret.

So, what you're saying is that being a good public speaker does not help in anyway with being a D-1 head football coach.? Not even just a little with a selected # of recruits and trying to sell your program to a HS kid.

I said a # of selected recruits. Not everyone, I'm talking maybe even one per class.

See Freeman, Brown, etc...
