Title: Question for resident wichitanians
Post by: michigancat on April 27, 2006, 11:18:32 PM
What's the best place to have a drink in 'ta after a Wranglers game?

Do Shocker BB players still hang out at Hero's every night?

TIA

Magnetic fields?

When are you coming back to Phoenix Rusty?

Not soon.  Lots of summer weddings.

You walk into a cave (concave).  The other one is convex.  Good study point.  Seriously, optics is the easy crap.

Honestly though, they have a pretty sweet "laser tag" service behind the CompUSA on rock road. The tennis team use to always giggle and "bond" there. That would be great for you and EP2 Rusty to have some fun...fwiw

Who the hell goes to Wranglers games anyways?

If anything, i'd suggest Old Chicago.  A bit pricey, but 110 different brews, and you get neat prizes.

I got this. This is my forte. It depends on what you want. The cool new spot is The Pump House, which is a renovated gas station - I know, it sounds weird - near Flashbacks and Old Chicago in Old Town. That's one of my favorite spots. My other go-to is the Anchor on E. Douglas. Just a cool, melting pot kind of bar. Loft 150 is tired, but when a bar is playing, there is usually a lot of chicks. Sure, you could do Heroes, America's Bar, etc., but why would you? Trust me, everything you're looking for can be found at the Pump House. That joint is no joke.

Is the anchor the one with the neon mermaid (I think)?  Yeah, that was an awesome bar.  Quite a few beers to choose from.

Rolling Rock specials?   It seems like Heroes is the Rusty's Last Chance of Wichita.  No one I know likes it there, but everyone seems to end up there everytime they go out.

Have you ever been to the sports bar in the Warren when a big game was going on?  I went once during baseball season before a movie and was amazed at how empty the place was.

Good call on the Pump House. I've only been there once, but it's definitely the place I'm going back to next time I'm in Wichita.
