I think a win over NU will be easy. Could be a good season with Freeman. Austin is a loss but that's true for every team that goes there.
What do you think?

What team are you for????

In which game? Definitely want a big win.

We beat Texas last year. I don't see why we don't beat 'em worse this year, now that Prince has gotten to see all of Mack's cards. Scary smarter.
The first possibility I see for a loss is in New Orleans in early January.

I remember. But do you think that you'll get to ambush Texas on a cold day at home after their starting QB suffers a freak injury and Freeman has a career game? Or do you think Texas will play normal at home and be unbeatable? I think you win by 17 against NU.

getting a stinger in football isnt freak.
getting your helmet smashed back in your face is common.
this is a broken record. i read this somewhere else.

Freeman was a freshman last year. He'll have twice as much experience this year, which means that we'll probably put up twice as many points. It's science. Prince'll probably call off the dogs before it gets too embarassing, though, so we'll just say 73-24.
As for Nebraska, I'm frankly more concerned with Baylor and Iowa State.
-
ill find it.
there is no such thing as a freak accident in a full contact sport.
-
Sure losses = Auburn and possibly NU
Sure wins = Texas (will you guys ever beat us?) and Missouri State

Freeman was awesome. He was in a zone. It's rare that any qb can throw up ducks like that and turn them into first downs. Texas will be tough at home and prepared this time. That's a sure loss. You crush NU and that will be fun to watch.

Should spank nu and have a shot at Auburn. You may only have one sure loss.

To who, OU in the Big XII championship?

You know what? I forgot that Chizik left. That means the Texas defense automatically is better than what Freeman tore apart last year. However, due to Freeman's increased skillz I'll only reduce my prediction by a touchdown. 66-24, KSU.
This also means I'm not concerned with Iowa State. I'm still much more concerned with Baylor than Nebraska, though.
-
Wakz, I doubt OU goes past 3rd in the south. They just seem to suck lately. Boise ripped them and they got lucky against Baylor.
Slimz, you nailed it, Baylor may be decent. KSU will kill NU, it's those pesky perennial champs Texas that will be the stinger.

Agreed, BU is likely better than NU. Thanks for reiterating that factoid.

Hi Chico, not sure what you're smokin but I'd like some. :loly:
Yeah, the schedule kills with Auburn and nations probable best in Texas. Austin will be a loss, I think an Auburn win is possible. NU is a done deal.
Cheers,

Huskers win smoke KSU and UT will get their ass kicked by KSU. KSU owns the fags from Asstin. :katpak: :ksu:

Without Purify, corn will lose to KSU and Colorado. That's just the North losses. Yes, KSU loses to Texas but wins going away against corn.

Sure Losses:

Baylor
@Iowa State
Hey at least we'll probably beat Missouri State!

Is this a sock? I can not tell. 8)

This is a new breed of sock. I am baffled by it. Either it's Waks, a TX fan or a Corn fan. Texas fans usually don't come here because we own them in every sport imaginable (football and mens basketball), Corn fans usually don't have enough wit to throw the reverse sock at you and Waks....well it may be Waks.
-
He's not arrogant enough to be an actual Texan. Definitely an amateur effort.

I think you miss your homoerotic banter with rodent over at the warzone and you've come over here looking for his sphincter...
:yuck:

Bookie Pimp, I ask that we keep serious conversation here. One sock has attacked a well thought out and accurate subject matter. I do think KSU will stay closer in Austin than corn will.

Your request has been denied. You may find more serious chatter on the senior citizens board. Thanks for visiting. Now GOODBYE.

Nations probable best in Texas....no way, I think we play UT down there, not Florida.

I don't believe in a "sure loss"! They play the games for a reason. If there are such a thing why do the jayhawks even march out onto the field? :ksu:

This is one of the best threads I've ever read...on a Friday...in July.
Nope there was one almost exactly like it in July '99 on the same subject.....he!!, it was probably JMITCH that started that one too.
The fact that he thinks it's a sure win for them gives me a boost of confidence.

I gun for one great post every July. Don't forget about the accuracy of my July 05 thread.
I think if we look at life with non-tinted glasses, we have to conclude that KSU has a shot in the North. With Freeman anything can happen. It's just bad luck that this is a year to play Texas because KSU is already in the hole one.

JBITCH,
I remember bantering with you on the Warzone during the KSU-Texas game last year. It was lots of fun, but would have been much better had I actually been at the game  Anyway, what was your July 05 thread about? I doubt anybody here would know.

KSt8cat, I prefer the term JMITCH. No doubt you've read many of my O5 thread so no need to repeat. Last year's game was lots of fun for KSU, in fact, beating the defending national champs and a team marching towards another NC was your greatest win ever. That was a huge accomplishment. Yes, it took a lot of luck- knocking out the QB and Freeman converting prayers into first downs- but you managed to pull out a close in one. This year will be different, you will face a focused team in the toughest place to win in the B12. Should be more fun. :chainsaw:

Hey Steve, errrrr Dave? Norman is a morgue and the purple crowd will be louder than the land theives. In Austin, you'll be 'dwarfed' by the Texas home crowd. On top of that, Texas is better than ou.
Just trying to help,
JMITCH
