If you want his attention, take this route: "Uhhh, J-Mart, whatchu think about, uh,...[insert question here]?"

Works every time. Trust me on this.

Welcome, Levi.

Now, are there any other Eagle staffers I should lure here? Or perhaps I could send Whitlock and Kietzman a link... :ku:

I figured if I'm gonna lurk, I might as well sign up. Saul, William, J-Mart and possibly Skip? This is my type of crowd.

Whitlock and Kietz? Dude, I'd love to hear their thoughts on Serge and Big 12 Championship rings.

He's also like 85, and this is a much different format than the Planet. Confusion is understandable.

Bob Lutz

I can't see that going over well. For any party involved.

I'm a fan.  He's a solid guy.

I'd like some insight into the tension between Lutz and Plumlee, though.

Oh my God. I'm laughing my ass off right now.

There is no tension whatsoever between Plumlee and Lutz, by the way.

"I don't read Lutz's columns" - Plumlee

It's fairly obvious they hate each other.

How do I say this delicately? Rick, bless his heart, is a different dude. For starters, he lives in Lawrence and doesn't get a physical copy of the paper, so he probably doesn't read Lutz. But trust me, and I have no reason to keep any disharmony secret, they get along.

Jeff, what creative way were you talking about to get both Hannah in Colon in. Were you implying a player might transfer or is somebody going to walk on.

Just playin, dude.

At least now it's been hinted that Plumlee is insane.  That's even better!

When I was around Wichita, I read Lutz every day.  I really don't mind him.

Man, you people are persistent. ANYTHING can happen, folks. People want to play at K-State. Maybe some already here don't. Don't mean to be cryptic, but there are some things I'm cleared to talk, others (wink, wink) I'm not. Do with that what you will...

It would take a looong night to defend Plumlee to the world, but he is a good guy. As Jeff pointed out, he is a different breed, but I'm pretty certain he'd do anything for anybody. I don't know about insane, although I will never forget the "GO F*CK YOURSELF!" he yelled across the press box to the PA dude in Lawrence in 2004. May have been the single funniest moment I've ever been a part, considering the source.

I take it you've yet to lay eyes on triple fat...  His best bet will be somebody along the lines of Helen Keller.  Not just deaf and blind, but also DEAD.
