Montana State football coach Rob Ash announced he has hired former Kansas State quarterback Jonathan Beasley as receivers coach for the Bobcats. Beasley played quarterback at Kansas State during 1996-2000.

Yeah, that kind of crap never happens.

Yea, there's nothing wrong with that. QB's sometimes know WR routes better than the actual WR's. QB's are usually the smartest players on the football field, they know the game the best. For example, Josh Heupel was a TE's coach at Arizona before being offered the QB's coach at OU.

But what ever happened to that QB coaching job at Emporia State for Jonathan??? I guess this job blew that out of the water....

Matt Miller coached TEs.

Snyder, for having a reputation as an offensive guy, played DB in college.

McCarty was a DL in college, but is the OL coach now.

We could do this all day.

Not me, the Michael Smith thing was pretty much all I had.

Vince Young is the glaring exception to this statement.

Too bad the head coach at Beasley's alma-matter has excommunicated any/all former players from the program, he could have been a fine addition to that staff.  :blank:

Sorry, K-State's football program didn't exist until Bill Snyder came to Manhattan.  Is Matt going to call me or should I call him?
