Hmm, not sure. Sprint just launched a new ad campaign ("Sprint ahead") that includes region-specific billboards in 26(?) cities, but I thought the KC billboard had something to do with BBQ.
Edit: found pic of KC billboard.

Where did you find that? It's obviously not the one I'm talking about.
lol. coverage? everyone i know in the area cant get a signal with sprint at all. POS.
I'm aware. I was pointing out that that is the only KC-area billboard I know of. Is your "fountain" one of the same scheme (i.e., simple text quip, neon-outlined image)?

If you can't get Sprint coverage in KC, you either a) live in a bomb shelter, or b) have the crappiest phone on the planet. Sprint coverage sucks in quite a few places at the moment (that's supposed to change soon, hopefully), but KC isn't one of them.

My uncle lives just off Barry Road and no one in his neighborhood gets Sprint.

<----wanting to know what real live's will be like's.
What's with those weird billboards with the blue fountain?like "kougs" said, it's regional advertising. kc's known for BBQ and fountains.
I don't get it.
Is this it? I mean, if it had a fountain.

Those aren't palm trees, they're fountains designed to look like palm trees. :mad:I've always loved KC's palm trees.WTF???
To see some examples, look closely at your photo.
Rusty, that image wasn't on the Internet, and I can't find the fountain one, but you know all you need to know already. It's part of Sprint's new ad campaign.

Ooo, nice catch. I stand corrected.
Rusty: KC is the (self-proclaimed?) city of fountains. HTH.
Would you like to know more about Kansas City's Fountains?
Well, you've come to the right place to find out! You'll find a brief history of our fountains going all the way back to 1883, and some fun facts that will surprise you. And if you think you know everything about our fountains, try taking our test and see how much you really know!
Rusty, maybe this would be helpful in clearing up your confusion?

Bluetooth is awesome. bluetooth + blackberry on the belt = people being impressed with your importance.
Crisp Hagar shirt, crisp Dockers khaks, square toe leather shoes all signal that you are "on your way" in the booming metroplex of fountainy K.C.
There better be some "product" in that hair dammit!!!
Is this a contractual obligation in (http://c2.com/~ward/plates/Kansas.jpg)?
