The word is that he has quit college to pursue his career as a rapper.

Sounds like it's up to Leon if he wants to start working out with the team and than start fall practice on Aug. 3rd. I've heard alot of people say that they've seen him at the rec. working out, so that's a good sign.

He's not with the team yet, but I'll bet he'll be by the 3rd.  :ksu:

Just hurry up Leon, you're killing us!!!  :crybaby:

Leon Patton, who was the subject of much speculation the past few weeks, was all smiles Saturday. He said his "situation" has been resolved, but he didn't want to clarify what his situation was. He did allow that it wasn't an academic issue. "It was off-field stuff," he said. But he's back in apparent good standing, and he believes he and Johnson combine to make the best running back tandem in the Big 12.
