Want to attend the football opener Sept. 1 at Auburn? K-State has plenty of tickets, at $45 a pop, available. K-State has sold about 1,700 of its 5,000 allotted tickets.

If flying into Atlanta and have some extra dough, you might try Callaway Gardens for a very nice weekend.

I was hoping somebody would have info on a decent place to stay in Auburn.  All the places I saw in town were $150 night w/ 2 night minimum stay.  I was thinking of staying in LaGrange, since it's on the way from Atlanta (where I will be coming from).  Billy says they got a lot of nice girls there.

I am looking into that Callaway Gardens.

Anybody got any other thought or suggestions for lodging?

We're staying in Columbus, GA...seemed to have a lot of chain hotels...not that mom and pop roach hotels you can find in Auburn.
