It's going to be 118 degrees here in Phoenix today.

I think I'll skip the fireworks myself.

I haven't heard anything but I do know it's supposed to rain like crazy. That probably has something to do with it if it is true..

Anyone heard if this is true?  I just got home from marching in the Wamego parade and we are planning on going to CiCo for the display tonight.

The Peoria Sports Complex is located about 2 miles to the north of my house.  Normally, we'd walk up there and find a nice place along the road up and watch.  However, there has been so much development, you really can't just go up there.  All the best spots now sport office buildings, apartments, and housing areas.

But, we can see them from inside our house, so we watched.   The temperature outside at showtime.. 108 degrees.
