Title: The Best $15 bucks I've spent in a long time.
Post by: Racquetball_Ninja on June 30, 2007, 05:09:30 PM
Took a buddy out to Colbert Hills today and played the par 3 course, he's a bit of a hack at times so I thought it would be nice of us to spare the Championship course.

Green Fees = $10 all you can play
Cart =   $5
Beer = $16 sixer in a stay cold bag (he bought)

Good f*cking times and the par 3 course is pretty fun.   :thumbsup:

PS  I found out that with a student ID the green fee is cut in half from $75 to $32 in case anybody didn't know.

And I met Jim Colbert on the putting clock... hell of a nice guy, seemed friendly compared to some of the other professional golfers I've met.

Jim Colbert >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> stunner.

The best post in all of those threads.

I didn't say that I knew him, I simply said he seemed like a nice guy.  Tell me Stunner... do you and Jim go way back?  Did he help your parents find the car they're going to buy for you?  I'm on the edge of my seat here, how do you know him?   :blindfold:

Actually, he was a nice guy when I met him, let me and my friend play the "big course" for free.  Then later on my brother and I started picking up balls for them from the long grass in exchange for free golf (hopefully they don't take away my two state rings).  One day my brother and I started to find a bunch of Callaway balls.  Coincidentally they were on or by the same green.  Of course we took them.  Apparently they were Colbert's, and he bitched at one of the cart dudes.  Now he's a big meanie.

Now see... that's excellent clarification.  I didn't now you played, what's your handicap?

Was a 3...I'll probably have trouble breaking 90 now.
