2nd.  Not sure who would be first, NU or Mizzou, but NU has a brutal schedule, and I'm not sure Keller will survive it.

And in contrast Mizzou's schedule is a joke.

i picked first, but only if we can beat NU and Mizzou and of course not screw up any of the others, if not 2nd or 3rd

Pinkel is still the head coach.   That's a negative bias right there.

The Nubs will be better in the trenches, and I dont know if ksu's run D can handle NU, they just man handled them last yr.
Mizzou will have a ton of firepower on O, but the 3-4  :hope: and our deep secondary should be able to hold them up some. Freeman/wr's HAVE to have a better game vs them than they did last year dont they?

I'm guessin they'll end up in 3rd.   :-[

I voted third, but if we beat Mizzou at home then we'll have the tie breaker over them so (technically, not that it matters) we'll be 2nd if we win as many games as them in big 12 play.

I probably shakes out something like this...

Negative fan - 4th - If we lose to ku
Unbiased fan - 3rd - If we lose to Mizzou
Optimistic fan - 2nd - if we beat Mizzou
Biased fan - 1st - if we beat Nebraska

I think we can beat Mizzou but I'm still on the fence as to whether or not we will beat Mizzou.

the mizzou offense may be the biggest myth in the college football nation.  All this taslk of high power this and that, it is not true.  Anyone care to take a look at the stats?  Last year they were 6th in the big 12 in scoring.  To call that some kind of high powered offense is laughable.  They play a weak ooc and rack up obscene numbers in the first month of football.  then, they play the real boys and those stats crumble because they play a pussafied offense by a coach that changes his offense every 2 years to be trendy and buy himself more time.  Think about it, if you can keep selling your fans on your " offensive transition" you can always buy a couple more years.  Anyway, they have a qb that is so short that he lines up 10 yards deep on every shotgun play and throw as many passes behind the los as past it.  their offense is a circus.

I really am interested to see the KSU/UM game.  The 3-4 is supposed to give those kinds of offenses fits.  Mizzou is further along in their offense than ksu is in their defense but it could get interesting.

and there is always the pinkel factor.

that being said, ksu finishes no higher than 3rd or 4th-

Missouri will probably beat us 42-28 or 35.  Their offense is good enough to over ride the pinkle

NU has the worst D-Backs in the Big 12 (Good LBs though).  You should fear Mizzou and their big receivers/TEs.

9 people for first?

If you're going to make a joke, the polite thing is to let the rest of us in on it with the 'ole 'wink-wink' number.

even if that was clse to being true, which it aint those same crappy db's didn't have to many issues last year wit mizzou sO  I aint worried this year.  I love mizzous tight ends, they can throw to those guys all game long, I would prefer it.  The spread offense is all about speed, precision passing and making something happen after the catch.  If 2 out of your top 3 wr;s are tight ends who are about 260 pounds, there aint gonna be much happening after the catch.  There is a reason they were 6th in scoring last year.  It's because pinkel has an offense of speed built around 2 guys who probaly run in the 4.8's or slower
