Title: Predators to KC?
Post by: dr00d on June 28, 2007, 06:47:28 PM: They are getting closer to a deal. Apparently the owner said he would rather sell it to a guy that would take it to KC for 50 mill less than have his team moved to Ontario. LOL

thoughts?

I'd love to have the Predators, but the Penguins were my first choice (and been my fav NHL team).

Predators are a great match up though since they wouldn't have to change divisions and they are in the same league as the blues.

The team has a lot of young decent talent too and has made the playoffs the last three years, something that no other team in KC can seem to find. I say, YES.

It seriously can't be any worse than the royals and hockey players get paid a lot less too.

We actually have 15k fans per game show up to watch a terrible royals team everyday.

You seem to hate Kansas City. It's the greatest place on earth (outside of Manhattan, of course).

i like KC...but in terms of other cities ive been/lived in..its light years behind on how things are 'done.'

somedays it annoys me. somedays its the greatest on earth.

but a hockey town? never.
