Not saying I contributed much to either forum.  But it's a bad omen for them.  Too many similarities...plus July 1st...

You should post "bad move getting stunner banned..." and maybe they'll explain it.  If you'd like to describe the scout.com tankage, go ahead too.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Why did he get banned? I don't understand the banning of paid subscribers that are K-State fans and haven't broken any board rules. His last five posts didn't even have anything to do with the whole stars controversy. It just seems like bad business to me. A lot of people made a big deal about the stars, he just spearheaded the charge. Thanks.*

I thought you said you could read the threads. If so, lol at them stopping you from taking premium content. Can you post the links to the threads where you stole premium content? I'm curious as to what they think you stole (since GPC gets everything first, you know?).

I don't know why you guys do that to yourself.

If you pay money to see something on the Wabash, then don't share it over here.   It's not that hard of a rule to follow.

You pay for something, you get a value from it, then don't reduce the value of it for yourself or others who pay.    I don't care what your opinion is of the topics they discuss, or what information is passed out.   Just don't take away their livelyhood.   That's not fair.

He's the biggest cheapskate there is and he has the ability to hypnotize people and get them to do his bidding.

Don't fall for it.  There are many stories on the internet of his ability to get people to do his nefarious bidding.  Stop now before you fall into the trap.  Do not let Rusty ruin your life.

mjrod, are you going to ban people on here if they post premium info elsewhere?

Of course I would, if I had a premium message board and posted content that subscribers pay for.

Fitz has an excellent product.  I pay for it myself.  I do it because he's got a great staff and they work hard.   That's not to say that I don't share information I hear on there with other people, but almost always it's with people i know that don't have a computer or also have a GPC subscription but may not have the news broken to them.   Generally, I don't think Fitz minds if I tell someone who isn't a subscriber, but I don't share anything that he states is not to be shared.  And I never copy and paste from the Wabash.

You have to realize this is his work, his livelyhood, and it's not a lot to ask to respect that.  You can hate him if you don't like what he says, or if he's an ass, arrogant, whatever.  He's never one to mince words with those who cause him grief.   You don't have to respect him personally, but taking his business and devaluing it is not right.  He deserves to succeed or fail on his own merits, and not because some people decide it's "funny" or "cool" to get information he works for and not pay for it.

Then the mods got stupid.

And now they've banned everyone who made it interesting. There are no differing viewpoints, its a kool-aid fest.

Then the mods got stupid allowed ku fans and Tom Light to run the place .

And now they've banned everyone who made it interesting who complained about the ku presence. There are no differing viewpoints, its a kool-aid fest [for ku fans].

Defending scout's honor (lol) is one of the easiest way to get tom to bite.

Unfortunately, he owns me (banned @ phog).  :-[

He didn't like the new board software, so he shut it down and switched back to EZ board.  Scout banned him until they kissed and made up, with Tom 100% on board in a day or so.

Geezus God almighty.   That guy is pure emo.

You should check out his iphone threads.  They're hilariously sad.  I'd link them, but, you know.

My stepson bought an iMac notebook.

He put some kind of software on there that when he picks up the computer and moves it around in the air, it makes the noises of a light saber.

He got carried away and hit the wall with it.

It's now being repaired.. and surprisingly.. not covered under warranty.

But those sound effects of it flying through the air crashing.. pretty cool.

Will I get a refund after being banned?  I have about 9 months left, and I think it's a little ridiculous to lose all that money, considering after being warned by mjrod, I did not copy/paste articles elsewhere.

It was I who pulled that board from into oblivion. People started talking to themselves, traffic was rising [because of a mandated quota].

Then the mods got stupid allowed ku fans and Tom Light to run the place .

And now they've banned everyone who made it interesting who complained about the ku presence. There are no differing viewpoints, its a kool-aid fest [for ku fans].

Well said.

The board was at its peak with that ku presence.

Then Catfan28 started PMSing.

I would fight it if I were you.  When they banned you, they made the choice to not accept your money.  If they don't cooperate mention something about filing a complaint with the better business bureau.
Is Rivals.com a member of the Better Business Bureau? If not - the BBB is worthless.

The BBB is worthless no matter what. You have to pay to be a member, so they are not going to do anything to jeopardize losing a paying member. It's a scam.

It's simply a very nice apartment.

Whoaa   That is badass!

Agreed!   Okay, so maybe "badass" was a strong/weird term to describe an apartment, but hey, it's my first nice place...I get excited about it.
So excited you feel the need to tell everyone on a message board.  That is exciting.  It just a very nice apartment, its not like studying in Prague or something.

You try way too hard. Just let it come to you. You'll have better stuff.

I'm surprised opcat hasn't chimed in to the kougar24 bash fest.

True, that is surprising. He might be too busy frantically scanning the local talk radio stations for any mention whatsoever of anything K-State.

Olathe's great, 15 minutes to downtown without having to deal with downtown trash.  Also not as snobby as OP has gotten.  there is a higher % of white trash in olathe though.

LOL.  From today's Star:

The reconstruction of the interchange at I-435, I-35 and Kansas 10 stands to be the priciest of the three local projects on the list.

Driven by new development to the south and to the west, traffic there has increased roughly 50 percent since 1997.

The interchange, completed in 1975, has become so congested that traffic from Olathe, Spring Hill, Gardner and Lawrence often backs up on I-35 and Kansas 10 during the morning rush hour as drivers exit onto eastbound I-435.

In the afternoon, traffic backs up for more than a half mile on I-435 toward Overland Park.

It can be nerve-racking to commuters like Erin Santos, who has to get to Olathe to pick up her child from daycare before she’s charged $1 for every minute she’s late.

Not long ago, it took Santos 30 minutes to get over the ramp from I-435 to southbound I-35 and 119th Street.

“It’s terrible,” Santos said of I-435 in the late afternoon. “I avoid it altogether. It’s faster to take the back roads.”

You will not get a refund, as you can continue to read the articles - just can't view the message board topics.

I can't even do that anymore.

You need to call Rivals and clear that up.  GoPowerCat doesn't really control the subscriptions.

If I've cancelled my subscription do I get a refund?
No. Rivals.com does not refund for unused portions of subscriptions. When you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access until the end of your current subscription term.

I think I'll call...but it could be different since I got banned.

I have won battles with Cingular and Waste Management by using the BBB.

Yeah it's a nightmare, thank god I don't work in OP.  69 highway to 135th or 151 is much faster from OP to Olathe.

You don't have to take I-435 to get downtown. But that little snippet is dead on about the 435-35 interchange. Awful.
