IMO ksu 56 ku 27 but as jaloma mentioned in another thread refering to ku "ya, a win in manhattan, they should try to score a touchdown first. they havent scored a touchdown in manhattan in 8 years...(4 trips)"

56 points with that O-line of yours.*

*I'm expecting a loss but you're nuts if you think you'll score 56 with Aqib Talib and an improved safety corps this year on our defense.

Well, if you want to use scores from last year factoring into a game this year, go ahead. Personally, I like to throw those out the window except when rubbing it in against your rivals. I have a feeling we'll see a score like cireksu said, I think at this point we're going to trade victories between home sites the next few years until one gets a decided advantage over the other fwiw. Neither offense is probably gonna be that great this year.

Bring back Sproles and a dominant o-line and you can have 64-0. However, for the sake of discussion I'll say 61-0.

Thank God you're a reasonable ku fan unlike all the idiots over at kusports.com. I agree with what you say that we'll probably just trade wins every other year until one of us gets good again.

I think two touchdowns sounds reasonable. Ksu 21 ku 7

ku's loss of Cornish is HUGE. This is definitely a rebuilding year for you guys. Luckily for ku, you guys have one of the easiest schedules I have ever seen, so going bowling isn't even close to out of the realm of possibilities. I think K-State will win this year mainly because you guys aren't very good on the road and you won't have a run game that can gut us like it did last year.

It's my honest opinion. I don't think a win is out of the realm of possibility for ku though. I know I predicted a ku win on the phog a few months ago or whatever, but I've changed my mind since then. I'm indecisive :crybaby:

In-state tuition, I live in town and they have a kick-arse jazz program that's better than UT

And what's really exciting is that the basketball team got 9 total wins last year! :dancin:
So ku was really that bad?

Nice bait attempt. No, it wasn't, Texas State just has a better music program.

Shouldn't we be doing this over pm's or something and not hijacking the thread?
Do you really think anyone on here is going to pick ku to win?

How did you end up choosing ku if you're from Texas?

That bye week ku has is a bitch.  Like last year, we play Texas during their bye.  However, they are awful on the road, and it will be pretty rowdy at the Bill (which I'm proud to say, had been named, the "top 25 toughest stadiums", at least before our suck, on the NCAA video game).  We want this bad.  And we will EMAW our heart out.  Honestly, ku would probably win in their staidum (we're not "there" yet...but we're close...", but no way we lose at home.

Throughout most of the game, our offense will be anemic and won't be able to do anything while ku has to settle with chip shot field goals and will probably get a saftey or 2.

But due to the squawkers inability to hold a lead or win on the road, they choke the game away and let the Cats tear them apart in the 4th quarter.

21-11 Cats.

Jordy won't have a big game. Chances are that Talib will be covering him and Talib is definitely a shut down corner. However, our other receivers will have great days.

Anyone see recently that Sporting News ranked the 66 BCS coaches? F-ing Fatgino was #35 (the 5th best coach in the Big XII). Prince was somewhere in the 50s (only ahead of Gene Chizik, if I remeber correctly).

Anyways, onto the prediction:
1 - ku does not win road games (see Toledo, OH last season).
2 - ku does not win games at the Bill (see many of the 50ish-0ish scores of recent past).
3 - Aqib Talib does not touch the ball, so claiming that he is the reason that the Hawks can hang is sad. We won't throw his way.
4 - No more Cornish - easily your MVP last year.
5 - Therefore, Cats win 31-17. Hawks may get lucky with a flooky INT or kick/punt return.

I never said that Talib was the reason that the hawks would hang. I said that he is the reason Jordy won't have a great game.

So....your "awesome" corner, won't win the game for you, ok, I give you that. I am just curious how Jayhawk fans (are any of you out there?) can be so confident that they will win at the Bill?

In all honesty, Kerry is a solid QB, but will struggle without Cornish to bail him out. I do like the Hawk D, as far as the LB's and secondary go, but will not go as far as saying they are a top 5 unit in the conference. I will admit that they are the most likely in the Big XII to have "team day" at the electric beach. Whomever has that great photo of ku Lb's looking so tan and, well for lack of a better term, gay, would you please re-post here for comic relief (although some fans picking ku are providing plenty with their bold predictions).

Freeman had, what I believe, will be the worst game of his career.  Jon Cornish had what might have been the best game of his career but I am too lazy to check that. You were at home and still the game was undecided half way through the fourth quarter.

This year, Freeman will have more TD's than turnovers this year by at least 2-1.  You will not have a back rush for 100 yards let alone 200 this year.  You will be soundly defeated and Mangy will be toast!  31-0 cats win! :ksu:
