Players that choose ku do poorly on the wonderlic.

I wonder if the ku locker rooms are similar to prison? Hope his momma sends him some soap on a rope.

Josh Freeman: 6 passing TD's, 2 rushing TD's, 15 INT's, 103.45 QB rating

If you think that Kerry could start over Josh, you are on crack.

Not to mention Josh's first game starting was halfway into the season. Kerry was able to play against the VERY easy OOC opponents such as Norwestern St., Louisiana Monroe, etc....

Josh's team = Bowl game

I wonder who means more to their team????

Kerry = Actually went to the Texas Bowl to watch his brother on the sideline (actually saw him there...LOL!!!)

What were Kerry's stats his true freshman year?? Oh thats right he couldnt beat out the POS QB's you had on the roster so he redshirted, meaning he has been in the program longer that Josh has.

Meier* and Freeman regular season start stats

Freeman: 116 - 202 - 9 int (57.4%)..1,437 yards...6 TD...205.3 ypg...7.1 per att/12.4 per completion
Meier*: 104 - 184 - 10 int (56.5%)...1,193 yards...13 TD...149.1 ypg...6.5 per att/11.4 per completion

And bingo was his name-oh!!

* - Meier had an OL and running game and a year longer in the program.  And more stats compiled vs. @#%$ty ooc whereas all Freeman starts came in Big 12 play.  thanx.

Meier's starts came against Northwestern State, La-Monroe, Holy Toledo, Okie Lite, Baylor, Iowa State, K-State, and Mizzou.

Loffles.

Of his 13 TD's...6 came against Northwestern State, La-Monroe, and Holy Toledo.

freakin' deceiving stats presented by beaks about their REDSHIRT Freshman QB who had an OL, running game...and worked @#%$ teams.

Freeman's regular season starts came against Okie Lite, Nebraska, Mizzou, Iowa State, Colorado, Texas, and ku.

Freeman had 4 starts in the regular season vs. Bowl teams.  Meier had 3 starts vs. bowl teams.  Freeman beat 2 bowl teams in those 4 starts.  Meier "beat"(actually Freeman beat us) one bowl team in those 3 starts.

Bag full of LOL's.

And I'm spent.

This is just another example of many that indicates that all ku football "fans" care about is if they beat KSU.

ku horribly underachieves, doesn't go to a bowl game, doesn't finish with a .500 conference record, all this in a terrible north division and with a 5th year head coach...but it beats KSU so rock chalk contract extension.

Wooly beats ku (59-55) for the first time in a decade and he gets canned at the end of the season, neckbrace and all.

BTW, one more conference road win by Freeman and he ties Mangino's total conference road wins (2) since 2002.

Hell, if he does end up getting canned, maybe we can find room for him somewhere on our staff.  He must have been a pretty damn good assistant to move up as quickly as he did.  (And, for that matter, for the Stoops' to bring him along to OU with them.)  We can put him up in a skybox so he doesn't have to walk much and a big mac is always within easy reach.

I guess they both like blocking, and/or facing the very real possibility of dealing with a new coach at ku.

Top TE at ku in catches last season-Fine with 28 catches, no other ku TE's listed.

At KSU Norwood had 36 catches, Mastrud had 17 last, and Pooschke had 6 . . . that's 59 receptions for TE's at KSU, compared to 28 receptions for the TE  position at ku.

'I've been talking with my recruiting coach Tim Tibesar since the spring, and they have seemed pretty interested in me for awhile now. Kansas State is recruiting me as a tight end prospect.'"

got this in an email today:

"Frankfort (Ill.) Lincoln-Way East tight end/quarterback prospect Blake Hammond (6-foot-5, 235 pounds) has remained busy this summer.... 'I received an offer late last week from Kansas State,' Hammond said. 'I've been talking with my recruiting coach Tim Tibesar since the spring, and they have seemed pretty interested in me for awhile now. Kansas State is recruiting me as a tight end prospect.'"
So there goes the whole idea that we recruited him because Biere committed to ku..

I hear Hawkinson wants to go to ku so he can be Mangino's personal restroom-towel handler.

hawkinson is a ginger....there's no way he's athletic. plus i can just tell by looking at him that he's a douche.

I'm not gonna lie they both look like d-bags.
Last I checked, you aren't supposed to be posting on this board anymore. I'd say you're the douche.

1. you never caught the joke
2. you dont let things go
3. we are not getting kadji so take his picture off
1.You made a bet, and welched on it after you lost.
2.You're a Nub fan.
3.You have no idea about Kadji (Nub fans don't care about basketball)

1. You are not the quickest
2. I am a Kstate fan just as yourself I am just more realistic than you
3. See #2
4. It's all in good fun why do you take everything so seriously
5.  :woohoo:
6.

ku continues to run circles around K-State in recruiting, getting its 3rd commitment in as many days.  Zach Stadther, the 6-foot-2, 275-pound defensive tackle from North Little Rock (AR) High School gave a commitment to ku after being recruited by the likes of Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Auburn.  Stadther, who recently attended camp at Arkansas, was the runner-up for the defensive MVP award.

I did kinda laugh at that one.

I don't know the numbers, but I'd love to see the Prince vs Mangino head to head record on recruits.  I know at one point last year it was like 10-1.

Congrats . . .

ku beat out Tennessee-Martin and Arkansas State for the kid.

No offer from Arkansas, Auburn, Oklahoma.

ku shutdown corner = charles gordon
ksu shutdown corner = terrence newman

does ku even have an nfl pro day? if so, why do they go to the trouble, nobody ever gets drafted from ku. we had a down season and only 2 or 3 wildcats got drafted. lol @ ku players considering going pro. nick reid DID come back to try out for the chiefs again. at least he tries, his 4.8 40 for some reason doesn't cut it against the 4.29 warrick dunns of the nfl. :banghead:

KSU stopped recruiting Boyd-Anderson.  KSU and Nebraska were early favorites and by the time the beaks got in the chase he was no longer being contacted by either.

Why didn't Arkansas give him an offer?

1. His forty time was not better than 5.0 (apparently a requirement by their DC).
2. Needed to evaluate him a bit further (translation: trying to land a few highly-rated DT first).

People at the Arkansas camp (who also follow Arky HS football) said he was a real good pickup for ku.

Why didn't Arkansas give him an offer?

1. Arkansas was going to offer him if he ran a sub-5.0 40, but that didn't happen.

2. Arkansas has six DT's on its roster, and only one is a senior.

According to a Razorbacks fan over on the Slant, Stadther is the best high school DT in the state.  Apparently Stadther was a 1st-team All-Arkansas selection last season and only one other junior made that team, current 4-star Arkansas commit, 6' 10" OL Matt Hall.  According to the Razborbacks fan, there's a guy named LaVunce Askew from Camden Fairview who has more offers at this point because of his measurables (taller, better 40). He's also a member of a team that is getting alot of hype this preseason and that helps his ranking. He said that Stadther plays in 7A and Askew plays in 5A, not near the same competition level.  Thought that Stadther was the better player.

God damn that is sad for a school that puffs their chest about a "turn-around".
