Title: Duane Zlatnik

Rossville, Kan., defensive end Duane Zlatnik is one of the top prospects in the Sunflower State and has received attention from across the Midwest including five scholarship offers. The three-star rated prospect has already participated in one camp this summer and has another coming up later this month.

The other schools interested in him are: Colorado State, ku, Wisconsin and Wyoming. I think he's leaning towards CSU.

Are we sure we want to be looking at a three-star prospect?

true true... the amount of stars he gets is directly proportional to the amount i care. 3 stars means i don't care, but i don't not care... it is the equivalent of star purgatory.

Roepke is also a very good wrestler. He didn't wow anyone other than Prince with his lineman skills.

Dude's my cousin's kid.

I want him to come just so that part of the family, that's always been ku and nubb fans will have to buy some purple.

Let me guess, ku bball fans and NU football fans?  No offense, but those people should be neutered.

Any chance at him?  Some people on the wabash say he's not that great, but he's got a decent rating.

Well, if they had been neutered, there would have been no chance for them to get their comeuppance.

I haven't been in touch with that part of the family for a while, I'll have to see what I can find out.

He is just big and that's about it. When he was playing against me he wasn't very fast and really isn't that great of a blocker. According to him though he separated his shoulder while playing against us (St. Marys). I think he is a D1 wrestler but not quite there yet for football. I don't know, maybe he will lay me out this year and I'll change my mind. By the way this board is awesome!

then again, it does take a lot less skill in the upper weight classes, you just have to be really strong. although, his wrestling record is pretty damn impressive.  it does help a lot with balance and such.

He's been wrestling more or less since he could walk.  He's an outstanding wrestler.

I have no idea how good of a football player he'll be though.
