With all the talk about possibly losing on the Brown Bros. and not being able to recruit to Manhattan, what would you do if you were Ron Prince to get top caliber kids to K-State? Is it a matter of the school being a tough sell? Is it coaching? Is it win loss record? Is it the fan base? In your opinion, what is the key to convincing HS players that K-State is the place to be?

Nicer buildings around the stadium, better uniforms, more concession stands at the game, two large towers overlooking BSFS....oh and winning consistently.

Really, you're slightly more clever than most husker socks.

You should put a picture of Beasley as you avatar or post on the basketball board once in a while. This is sock 101 we're talking about here...really first day stuff.

Rusty you're a dandy! My wardrobe is purple, fear not. But I am curious about what fans think about bringing in the best players. Try to be constructive. I think fans can be a huge factor. Look at places like Auburn that start tailgating the night before a game. Even when it's a non conference game. The players feed on that. Facilities upgrade would be nice too.

First off, we won't lose the Brown bros if they go elsewhere because they have never been committed to KSU in the first place. To pull in better talent we need 2 things
1. win
2. offer exposure
If we do those two things, the rest should take care of itself IMO.

NC07: Which Kansas State basketball player had a crazy looking birthmark/burn thing on his face? 20 seconds and no google.
EDIT: I will accept either name.

I didn't know. But tell what were the first names of the Lewis brothers from Bonner, circa 1980? If you don't know I won't disqualify you as a KSU fan.
